Best meal we had in Playa Del Carmen. Food was absolutely outstanding. You got to do the special Cubana. Service was excellent.
Good food, friendly service and perfect price. And, above all, clean! This place can be one of my favourite Mexican places in Tulum !
Found this hidden gem off the main road, next to many upmarket chic restaurants. Super authentic Mexican dishes, good service, friendly staff and amazing juices. We so good, that we went two day in a row ☺️?
They sell good products but sometimes a girl Clara with short hair color attends who steals YOU at the weigh-in, she steals up to 200 grams per kilo and sometimes she sells you the most Cara's things. You can find varieties of things like cheeses, cocoa, pinole, sour cream.
Conveniently located around the corner from my Airbnb. Open until late at night just perfect when you are having those late night cravings. The food all made with love. Be prepared to wait even more during the busy rush dinner hours.
Unassuming place just off 307. Have eaten many times as I love their big bowl of Pozole. Simmering away on the stove the smell gets me every time. All is good ( nothing is “the best” but solid). Prices are very reasonable and they are good people. My son and i were eating when what looked to be a starving man came up to a table asking for 5 peso’s. Staff quickly walked over and asked him not to beg and please go stand at the curb for a minute. They went back and made a plate of food and a bottle of water. The man was very gracious, as it looked like he hadn’t eaten in a while. I was so moved I left extra on the tip to cover his meal. I have become a regular
Sooo glad my Airbnb Host told me about this spot + we went when she came in town! I stayed in Tulum for three months and this is one of my faves for many reasons! It is right across from Ado so super convenient! The food is delicious, authentic and a GREAT price! I loved the Chaya and Lemon, Green, and NUVA juice! Loved the breakfast, ceviche, and tacos! WOW! Everyone super friendly! Make sure you bring cash! Once I knew about it, I ate here at least 2x a week!!
Every time we walked by this place it was packed so we just had to give it a try. Really glad we did because what an experience! This place has it all. Wandering minstrels singing for tips. Massive menu with ridiculously low prices. Tons of food on the plates. Bathroom in the middle of the crazy busy kitchen. Seriously. Big goblets of fresh fruit juices but, be forewarned, no alcohol drinks. We actually saw a guy zip across the street to a convenience store and come back with beers for his group. Hey, it's Mexico! Our lunch was so filling we skipped dinner. Total bill was around US$11. If you're looking for a no-frills authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place!
My partner and I are staying in Tulum for three weeks, we've been here for two and have eaten at this restaurant almost every night because the food and the price can't be beaten! We've gone other places just to make sure we aren't missing out on anything - and we are definetely not! We keep trying different dishes from here and absolutely everything we've ordered has been delicious! If you're a budget traveller (or even if you're not) you can't miss this place while in Tulum! Quick service, hard working friendly staff, 10/10 food, and such amazingly cheap prices. You can not go wrong with this place!
