Severely my underrated. An amazing joint with friendly staff and extremely tasty food and drinks. Friends and I went here 4 times in just a few days.

We were ROBBED at this restaurant! They made us pay more, gave us the wrong change and didn't want to show us the bill. The waiter looked mocking while we tried to explain and didn't want to listen.I went to the waitress who understood and saw that it was actually wrong, and they still gave us the wrong change again. They didn't want to listen to us anymore and kicked us out. I said I was going to the police and the waiter said it was okay.Absurd! Stealing money from the account in bad faith. You should be arrested!

The menu does not specify what the wires are made of, we asked the waiter and he did not mention that they cover them with cheese. We don't eat cheese and he didn't want to change, additionally super noisy. Do not go.

Visit on 8/2/2024.Really good tacos, nice atmosphere, not sick the following days like some previous comments.Yes there is a 15% tip but like everywhere in Playa de Carmen.....And a little bonus after a photo at the table “for the restaurant” according to the waiter, we leave with a little free souvenir! With our photo! ?

This is a great place for tacos. The pricing may be a bit more expensive but the quality of the food s drink is worth the money.

Service was great! Very attentive and friendly! Best guacamole we've had! Definitely worth checking out! Music was good as well! No issues with our card either like others have stated.

I am an always positive person and try to see the best in everything. Check out my reviews. This store is the first that really disappointed me during my trip to Mexico. Extremely hungry, I let a waiter persuade me to eat at the restaurant with my girlfriend. For once, we didn’t look at any reviews. And what can I say, they all tell my story. The food is extremely overpriced I paid 195 pesos for 8 wings. The staff automatically calculates a 15% tip. This cost a total of 585pesos or 36 euros with my girlfriend. Even in Germany that would be a price that would have justified eating more. The ambience is very nice but the price/performance ratio is not good at all. We had to remember when we recently paid 170 pesos each for half a chicken from a Jamaican in Tulum, which was tastier and much more expensive. Very unfortunate. A likeable Kaden who destroys himself in which the waiter takes photos of customers, prints them out on paper and sticks them on a bottle and tries to sell them to the customer. An absolute nonsense. I am very disappointed and still hungry.Update a day later: Even though I was disappointed here, I wanted to give another store a chance. I went to Ferron's Jerk Chicken down the street and loved it. I paid 485 pesos for 2 chickens including fries and drinks. That tasted great. Go there. I would like to give el tacoyote 0 stars given the price/performance ratio

The momia shrimp were dry and without cheese, they charge you a 15 % service and they also asked for a tip. (When we told her the tip was already charged she was speechless)So overall overpriced and not good food.

A shame. Very expensive for the food they offer. We broke a glass and they charged us for it!!! 70 Mexican pesos a glass, really a scam. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. TERRIBLE, if I could give it zero stars I would have given it zero stars.

Very tasty food and friendly staff, good place to watch sports as well, good air condition so the bar is nice and cool. One thing to be aware of from my experience is that the card reader seems to only work intermittently, so best take cash. Cocktails and tequilas are very tasty, but can be a little pricey, but this is in a prime spot on fifth avenue so not unexpected.

I do not recommend this place, the food is ok without more, so so service and they allow themselves to illegally take 15% obligatory tip. To

Food is really good, I've been 4 times now and it's always fresh and tasty. The surf and turf tacos are delicious and the chicken burrito is a close 2nd. They Aldo have great Pico.

The care is lousy! The watered down drinks, the girls Mariana and Ángela do their best to swindle you.The first thing is that we ordered vegetarian tacos and a vegetarian burrito and the accompaniment brought meat! Then the daisy, it's not a daisy, but I swear it was. Finally, when paying, we figured almost 100 pesos more, when we asked another girl, she told us that it was the tip, we told her that she would charge us with a card without a tip and we gave it to her in cash and she told us to talk with the girl who served us. The answer he gave us is that they were taxes! When the letter does not say so. Anyway, scam tourists, don't come close

Over charged us for beer. After reading other reviews I'm glad we didn't use credit to pay.
