In front of Charming Beach and Martina Beach is a beautiful and quiet beach, to enjoy with family and friends, on a good sunny or cloudy day like today, come and enjoy it located between 42nd and 44th streets. In Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Today we went spend the day at this beach club, it was are first and last time,. this post is to let everyone know not to take any cash, because they took my husband wallet and stoled our pesos, and at some point throw the wallet back in our bag. thank god we didn’t take a lot , we had just bought from this lady selling bracelets in the beach, so they didn’t take a lot, so please beware, there were 2 men and one lady at the cashier.
Don’t take any cash or pesos!
Beware!!!

To the owner ….. the name of the waiter he said was Alex, we did speak with the lady at the cashier and she took pictures of the torn card holder where he had the pesos and told her all about it, she said they would check the cameras.. Again it’s not the money , it’s that you don’t feel safe in a place that only had a few customers and supposedly a private beach club.

We received a great front row location, drinks were ok and food was good.
Until we discovered that the person who was out waiter stole money from our bag.
I would not post this if I was anything but sure as we didn't have any persons to either side as well as the back rows were empty.
I would not recommend you bring cash with you and think you are at a private place with honest personal.
If you decide to go you are on your own I have given you my honest thoughts.

Tourists, beware: this place is overpriced, with mediocre food and staff that’s looking to rip you off. My waiter, Alex, quickly asked for a $100 favor, claiming his son had an incurable disease. While I sympathize if it's true, it felt like a scam. On top of that, despite already tipping in cash, he insisted on adding a mandatory tip to the final bill using the card machine. These tactics were frustrating and left a sour taste. To make matters worse, the food was utterly tasteless—I received a to-go box with burned food that I only discovered when I got home. In short, avoid this place and go elsewhere.

I was in this place and they fooled me.
Recommended by the hotel where we stayed and they told us that to use the lounge chairs and umbrella we had to pay $500 Mexican per person. They deducted the costs of drinks and lunch. If there was any money left over they would refund us the difference, which when we left they did NOT want to refund us the balance saying that they would refund us in merchandise. Which was not the deal. The manager treated us badly and told us to complain to the hotel. Which had nothing to do with it. THEY SCAMMED US.

Yesterday my family and I visited the place, it is very beautiful and the food is very good, the service is good but unfortunately we had a problem with the waiter Alejandro, he added more food to our account than what it really was, which They gave a total of $4,795.00 and our actual bill was $2,880.00. Be very careful with your account. The cashier had terrible attention to us, I honestly wouldn't recommend the place for these two situations. The manager of the place was the one who was able to resolve this problem in a good way, we are grateful for that.

This place takes over the beach by putting up a rope and putting people in to prohibit anyone from entering the beach... and I will file a complaint with the corresponding authority.

This place is a scam. We paid to get in and verified where we could sit. But then we were confronted by this super aggressive butch person who would not let us get a word in edgewise, demanding we move, refusing to let us open umbrellas for shade, demanding that we pay even more (we paid $1700 and they wanted $2000) so instead of a nice beachfront relaxation, we had to sit by the bar with super loud music. They will DEFINITELY pull the bait-and-switch on you. Tourists will be taken advantage of. When we finally did get to order, which took FOREVER, there was a hair in the food. And after waiting an hour for a burger that never came, we said forget it and left. So- service sucks, food is gross, and atmosphere is meh. We won't be back.

We loved this spot so much we had to come back. Farid and Naim were both amazing servers, and they truly made the experience. The service was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. I can not say enough positive words for these amazing people. We paid 800 pesos for prime seating, and 650 went towards credit on food and drinks. The prices for food and drinks were not inflated compared to other beach clubs... or restaurants for that matter... and let me tell you what... Sooo good! The ceviche, amazing. The breakfast, stellar. Swimming in the ocean between naps, meals, and drinks, knowing my belongings are safe... I can't wait to come back!

Good service, good prices, the music plays well, and they have a fairly large space.

Encore is one of the best front beach restaurants around.
