Nothing we ordered was good. The tacos were dry and bad, the soup was not tasty and was just pork and broth, the burger was a mess, and the fried platanos were a greasy black mess of sliced, burned bananas. Aside from the messy burger, everything went into the trash. After months in PDC, I've never been so disappointed. What a waste of $44 USD. If we were in person, I would have sent everything back had they had the nerve to serve it.

The Hotel Casa De Las Flores was a great stay for five nights in August 2023. The hotel has a clean and accommodating feel, with attentive and friendly staff who were very helpful with requests and support with travel arrangements. The boutique style of the hotel The room was well-appointed with en suite, large bed and good AC, and was cleaned daily to an impeccable standard by friendly staff. The pool measures approx 5x5m and is approx 1.5m deep with loungers and a hammock - good for a cool off but a bit small for a full swim. The location of the hotel was ideal, in that it was several blocks away from the main strip, so easy enough to walk but far enough to escape the noise and clamour. The bars and restaurants in the immediately vicinity of the hotel are some of the nicest and less touristic in Playa (including the celebrated Lost Tiki Bar, only 20 metres away!). Overall a great stay with comfortable staff and ideal location. Recommended.
Stayed 4 nights while in Playa and would happily stay here again. Well located just 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants on Ave Quinta. The room was spacious and comfortable, great air con and mini fridge to keep drinks and snacks, good water pressure in shower. I was in room 19, which was well located and quiet. The real charm of the Casa de Las Flores is the beautiful and serene courtyard, with a nice pool, seating, hammocks, and the decor creates the ambiance of a calm oasis, with the sounds of waterfall in the pool. A giant mural of Frida Kahlo welcomes you. In the evening, the outside areas are well lit with peaceful glow, the gates are closed at night providing security, and staff are always on hand to let guests in an out late at night with ease and no hassle. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Well worth the price for great location and comfort.
A very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a kitchenette and good beds. Rooms are air-conditioned. The hotel is small and very cosy. It is close to the beach and the tourist area, but in a quiet area. The pool is wonderful to cool off. If you go to the beach you can get beach towels. Very good price-quality ratio!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and cozy hotel. The staff was friendly and beyond helpful with advice on where to go and what to see, especially Yheicar really took us under his wing. The breakfast restaurant was also great. Would definitely stay here again.
Really nice, picturesque hotel. Large rooms. Functioning AC. Great pool for cooling off at the end if the day. In-room fridge. Great location near the ADO bus and fifth ave but far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. Near a Walmart and lots of small, more local restaurants.
A little oasis - with a lovely pool - at the heart of PDC. Close to everything but not so close to be disturbed by the (enjoyable) madness of Fifth Avenue. Rooms are spotlessly clean, large, well equipped with a good fan and A/C. Decent showers and plenty of space for clothes and luggage etc. A bit of a boutique hotel feel - with antique furniture - but with the benefits of being part of the Kavia chain. Oxxo (s), buzzing town hall square (with some nice cafes), super markets, 2 x ADO stations, ferry terminal, Fifth Avenue etc all a brief stroll away. Staff are really helpful and friendly. There is a brilliant little Italian restuarant around the next corner.
Gorgeous traditional Mexican hotel with a gated entrance and open courtyard filled with original art, tropical landscaping, and fun details like talavera sinks and floors. There is a lot of love put into this place. Air conditioning worked well and the bed was very comfortable. Rooms are very large with plenty of room to spread out and privacy if you want it (e.g. there is a clear division between the bathroom and storage areas and the sleeping area). Easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Cozumel (ferry is about 10 minutes away and easy to find). The gentleman who checked us in showed us to our rooms - a rarity in these days - and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, directions, and logistics. He radiated joy at meeting us and helping us enjoy our stay in Mexico, and tolerated my very basic Spanish admirably. Loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone - couples, families, and even solo travellers because it is very safe (one entrance overseen by staff and the gate is locked after hours). We will be back.
We choose this hotel for the name: we loved the Netflix series of Casa de la Flores, so when we were looking where to stay in Playa del Carmen, this hotel got our attention, and we booked it. It is truly a nice hotel. We stayed three days and loved it. Located in the middle of the town a five minutes walk from everything, but far enough from the noisy Avenida Quinta (very important point if you want to sleep at night, and not having to listening to loud music 24/7.) Staff is super helpful and friendly. The garden is nice and well maintained. Our room was big, clean, and quite. There is a pool well kept and no crowded.
Just spent 2 weeks in Casa de Las Flores, and it was delightful. The staff, especially Jesus and Carlos were terrific. Very caring and helpful. Wonderful pool, great location. Just far enough from all the noise so you can get a good night’s sleep. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place.

Super clean double rooms. Lovely staff. Great restaurant the lost tiki next door. Close to ado station and quick walk to 5th avenue. The hotel has a cute colourful look. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking somewhere reasonably priced and comfortable to stay in PDC.
