Fresco Hábito

I wanted to like this place, but it was pretty disappointing. Pros: Their drinks were quite good - my husband got a green juice and I got a blended coffee drink. Both were good. The toast was basic but good. Cons: The matcha waffles turned out to be too dense and soggy, and the chia pudding with the homemade yogurt was very dry and chunky.

Big menu that's completely vegan. Good food and service are great. Our hotel is lacking options so we're super lucky it's right here! Updated from previous review on 2024-09-23

The place is dreamlike, the atmosphere is a spectacle and the service fascinated me! The super recommended drinks

Always return to this place when I’m in playa del Carmen the food is amazing! Take a little bit long to make but that’s because the food is made with love. Always order chocolate peanut butter bowl and the pancakes crapes . Also if I feel little unwell I always ordered the immune shots. Which picked me up. Atmosphere it’s a very green earthy vibe to it. Always bring my friends here and they love it too.

Vegetarian options: They have a lot vegan options . Majority is vegan.

Tienen una carta variada de bowls de desayuno y de buddha bowls, tostadas etc y todo vegano. Mucha variedad de smoothies y bebidas en general. Todo lo que pedimos estaba rico: el bowl de choco y crema de cacahuete, el de mango y la tostada caprese. El smoothie Fresita también estaba muy bueno. El sitio es muy acogedor y el servicio es bueno. Lo único malo es el altísimo precio por encima de los precios medios mexicanos incluso más que los precios europeos.

a little bit hot on days with strong sun, the food is very delicious, good portions, I recommend the hulk, maca rena and other mothis, the juices and the golden milk are delicious

The açai bowl was so so small and lacked some of the ingredients, it had very little banana and no granola, as soon as I had a few spoons it gave me some stomach discomfort. Waitress saw this and did not ask anything. I also had the burrito, it came with no sauce so I asked if there was any hot sauce. After eating, I go to cashier to pay, the total.amount to pay exceed the total price, meaning after the total the receipt showed an amount greater with like 70pesos. I then asked: is this because taxes are included? Yes! She replied. I said nothing and leave just now to realize that it was probably a "mandatory tip of 15%" that was included without any customer concern. I also heard all the gosip from the waitresses working there, talking so aloud it was not pleasant.

Fresco Habitos in Playa del Carmen is an absolute delight! During our 7-day stay, we found ourselves returning four times because everything was so delicious and fresh. The smoothies and freshly squeezed juices are top-notch, offering a burst of flavor and vitality with every sip. Their buddha bowls and toast options are equally impressive, packed with fresh ingredients and creative combinations that leave you feeling satisfied and nourished. The coffee is also a standout, perfectly brewed and delicious.

The ambiance at Fresco Habitos is simply gorgeous. The space is super cute and beautifully decorated, with cascading pothos adding a touch of nature and tranquility to the interior. The mural on the wall is absolutely stunning, too. There are plenty of tables and bar seating, and the bar seating is ideal for people-watching and enjoying the day go by. They also have a bunch of fans blowing from the ceiling inside, so on the hottest of days, you can stay cool while enjoying your meal. They do to-go orders as well, which is convenient if you're heading to the beach.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience every time. I highly recommend Fresco Habitos to any visitor in Playa del Carmen. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy fresh, tasty, and wholesome food in a charming and inviting setting.
