Like most businesses in the area, they open up when they feel like it and they answer the phone or their messages when they feel like It (or when they need money). I hate this mediocre business culture. I would NEVER order from them again. Food is not that great anyway. Pizzas are small, burgers always overcooked. Never again.

We placed a home delivery order sent to our hotel. 4 different orders and they were all correct. The flavor of the pizza in general and we recommend the raspberries chipotle wings. They were on time at the time they said. They answered questions quickly via WhatsApp. The menu is very clear and Andres and another boy (I don't remember the Name) were the best at customer service. I definitely recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

After a long day at Chichén Itzá, my wife and I were craving something different from the resort's usual fare. We both wanted pizza and discovered Funky Monkey Pizza and Grill after a quick search. With glowing 5-star reviews, we decided to give it a try. Contacting them via WhatsApp was seamless, and they responded immediately. Kenneth took great care of us, ensuring our pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks were prepared quickly. Within 15 minutes, we met the delivery driver in the lobby.
From the first bite, we were blown away by the delicious flavors and perfect textures. The pizza was the ideal size, and the mozzarella sticks were perfectly gooey. We were so impressed that we messaged them back to share our delight. The food was so good that we ordered from Funky Monkey for the next two dinners, trying the Royal with cheese and their quesadilla, both of which were fantastic.
With great service, fast response times, and amazing food, Funky Monkey Pizza and Grill became our go-to. We even recommended it to fellow resort guests who were also tired of the resort food, and they immediately ordered. If you're in the Playa del Carmen area or nearby, definitely give Funky Monkey a try—you won't be disappointed!
I went but they didn't greet me or offer me help or the menu or anything, the menu was a little confusing but seeing that it was aimed at tourists I better went to the taquitos in front where I did seem like a worthy customer for them ?

I have been their customer since they opened and the truth is they are one of the few businesses in Playa del Carmen that have not lowered the quality of their food or their service over the years. I live nearby and I have a small child... I call them and in a maximum of 15-20 minutes they are at my house with the best pizzas and hamburgers. This time we decided to also order some boneless to try them and the truth is they are excellent ?? The guys have always been super friendly and attentive! Don't hesitate to eat there, you won't regret it! You're going to have a wonderful flavor experience??? Keep up the good work, guys! Much success ?? P.S. I am lucky to live near Funky Monkey. I call them and in 15 minutes they bring me one of the best burgers you can get in Playa del Carmen. Their "simplest" burger, the "Royale", in addition to being a reference to a great cult movie, is everything you can ask for in a Cheese-Burger. The perfect combo between a soft and delicious bun, perfectly prepared meat and cheese with the exact texture and flavor. Always ready to bring you that extraordinary flavor. Thanks Funky Monkey! This is a diamond in the rough for sure! When you first get there it feels like it’s not the right spot at all. But the pizza and burgers are absolutely amazing. We got 3 pizzas which fed 3 adults and one kid under 10. We had a few slices left over to take home. The burger was even better. The server we had was very helpful in translating the menu and even called us a cab afterwards. Our total bill with food, water and a frappe was just north of 1100 pesos. We will Be back for sure
