We had such a lovely dinner here tonight. Our server, Benji, went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. He really made us feel welcome, and made It truly memorable. The calamari, raw oysters, and jumbo shrimp were phenomenal! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh seafood in the area.

Everything was perfect: the portions, the mix of flavors, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service (Hector had impeccable service).

The best fish I had ever eaten, Rubia something similar to snapper, I also tried the jumbo shrimp, all grilled and with house chili seasonings. I definitely recommend it, the atmosphere is cozy and calm, it is only one block from Fifth Avenue.

Very tasty food. Fresh seafood. Great live music.
...However, the service let me down. The waiter Benjamin was not very attentive. We asked to bring his lemonade without ice, but he did the opposite. The second time he made a mistake and brought us fried fish in oil instead of grilled fish. He ended up contributing both fish to the score. We didn't check the receipt right away and paid him for both fish.
It is very sad that such employees spoil the reputation of good restaurants.
Despite everything, my rating is 5* for the food, and let the owner deal with the unfortunate workers.

Wow. Everything was great, we didn't have one thing that we didn't like. The soft shell crab taco with the shrimp skewers were the best start for us. It was so good we decided to get the fish taco, too. It was perfect, crispy outside but hot moist in the inside. We got their fish of the day for our main, it's big enough for 2 people and was very fresh. This needs to be a must eat place when you come visit.

Amazinng food nice cozy spot in downtown Playa. Hector was really great he recommended too cocktails and food. We’re very picky fish eaters and what I loved about it is that you can pick your own fish which is always a plus. Would recommend to any tourist.

Benjamín served us very well, the food was very delicious, the drinks very fresh. I ordered an aguachile and one detail to consider is that they cleaned the shrimp very well, it is common for it not to be done well.
If you go to Playa del Carmen I recommend that you eat here.

I read about this place and watched the video on YouTube and got favorable reviews so I decided to give it a try. It was just a 3 minute walk from my hotel which was the Grand Hyatt Playa Del Carmen. It was dinnertime and early so there were only 2 tables occupied. Service was excellent and we were seated promptly. The place could do with a little more lighting though. Anyway we were shown the menu and we ordered the catch of the day which was fried parrot fish,cerviche, grilled salmon,grilled octopus and some tacos. The food took a little longer to arrive but not too long. The fish was crisp and fresh and the adobo octopus was tender and flavorful. We paid around USD150 including tip for the whole meal. Overall it was a decent meal. Pricing wise it's not bad. It is what to be expected in a tourist zone. Would I recommend it?? We'll let's pit it this way,if you decide to dine in the hotel you will have to pay twice the price for what I ordered.
