We always make it to La Caleta on our vacations in Puerto. This year we have made it twice. I highly recommend the Cochinita Pibil, the coconut shrimp, shrimp tacos . . .actually most anything on the menu. We have never had a disappointment. The atmosphere is great and the service is the best.

Buen restaurante dentro de xcaret, muy agradable el personal sin duda muy atento con un buffet excelente el cual ofrece una gran variedad de comidas desde carne, pescado hasta pastas acompañados de muy buenos postres que van desde pasteles, mofins, helados y gelatinas. La variedad de agua es muy buena. Si vuelvo a venir sin ligara. Dudas vendré a este restaurante.

La Caleta is always a fav when we visit Puerto. Tonight the restaurant was very busy with a few larger groups but we lucked out with a table within minutes. Though busy, the service was very good. I had the cochinita pibil and my esposa had mermaid shrimp. Both were excellent. Two meals, two drinks, under 1000 pesos. Very good value for the quality of food and service.
Everyone’s food was delicious and Jose, our waiter was great! Would definitely go back but not on Karaoke night. Too loud!

The restaurant is really nice, and the staff very kind. Food is fine and the empanadas (meat, particularly) are really good. The service, however, is lacking. We waited over one hour for our food and when it finally arrived it was cold.
