Stumbled across La Cochi Loka when exploring, tried a costra, loved it, kept thinking about it, came back and had 2 more. Very tasty food! And it’s fun to chat to the servers and other customers by the hatch.
I already had some drinks open, we were 9 people. And those of us who had open drinks left so as not to cause more inconvenience. In the end we did plan to consume everything inside the establishment. We opted to just order the food and buy the drinks at the store across the street. I saved a few pesos haha. The best cochinita in Playa del Carmen. The good thing is that they accept cards and I think they close at 3am.
The tacos are a good size and at a good price and well served. The cheese they use for quesadillas or crusts is delicious. The black sauce, wow, a delight, highly recommended.
