Not as good as the other location of the same Restaurant. More place to sit - but you can feel the more touristic „touch” ;)
I walked by this place and it looked interesting. I wanted to try some place like Mexican street food and at decent prices. I had no idea what a Panuchos cochinita pibil was - it's a Yucatan specialty of stuffed tortillas with refried beans with roast pork. I had to try it since I'm in the Yucatan pensiula. And it was only 40 pesos. It was delicious. This place was booming. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for my Panuchos
Most affordable yet tasty tacos and torts we found, nothing like those overpriced 5th Ave. places?
There is nothing. They took it.
Do not sleep on this little food stand in Playa del Carmen. Just off the main 5th Ave, these are some of the best cochinita pibil (roast pork) tacos in town, for a very affordable price. There is just a ledge with some stools outside for seating, and often a line, but worth it even if you have to wait and then end up standing while eating your tacos.
Not exactly sure the name of what I got, but I wanted chilaquiles and they let me know about this promotion for 100 pesos that offered it with eggs, on a torta and with a juice! Wish I remembered the name, but either way it was really delicious!!! Great people too
The flavor, the attention, has undoubtedly become one of my favorite places to have breakfast or whenever I feel like it ✨️

I ate here twice and each time I met nice people while waiting for my order. There are only a few stools, so you probably will end up eating standing around talking to others. It is not a sit down restaurant. The tacos Pibill and the Torta were absolutely delicious. They have an assortment of toppings that are self serve. If you are looking for authentic, inexpensive food instead of Fifth Avenue prices, check them out.
Probably the cheapest food you will get in Playa del Carmen. So tasty and quick. A little hole in the wall taco place with incredible food. Loved it. Just off 5th avenue if you want to escape the craziness!

Delicious food at affordable prices. The cochinita pibil is delicious and just as good as we’ve enjoyed in the past. Easy location to find and quick service. You can stand on the street and eat it or if there is an open stool you enjoy a seat while you enjoy your tacos.
If you are in PDC and looking for a cheap meal but lots of local flavour, this is the spot. Located between 5th and 10th avenue on the 10 street. You must walk by. Enjoy
This was an amazing tour. Each stop was very fun. I felt the stop at 5th ave was a little bit much, and we were immediately met by grifters. I get the bathroom break though for those that still had to continue to Cancun. Shortening the tour would be welcome, and of all the stops this is the one I felt could get cut. 5am -6pm for us in Playa Del Carmen was a bit long. It was a little lacking on the English translation aspect. The Tulum translator was excellent but the tour operator from Amigo tours knew just a bit. Marisa had amazing energy and with only 4 months of learning english was awesome. It made me wish I had been learning spanish before our trip more because what I could understand was interesting. Each stop was very busy so plan on a fast paced day. We had a 6 year old on the tour, and while not the most kid friendly tour, he was very welcomed on it. All things considered when we come back, I will be booking their Chichen-Itza tour. The drivers that they use for the driving are absolutely amazing. I forgot my hat on the first transfer bus and they got it back to the new driver at the end of the day.
This place is open for business 24/7 and never disappoints. At the peak of busy times, just exercise patience because it is worth it. I had both the pork Costras and pork Tortas several times during my stay and loved every bite. AND only 50 pecos each!!!! Do yourself a huge favour and try this place.
Saw this place on a YouTube channel, accidentally ran into it and glad we did. Probably the best food we ate all week. Ate there multiple times, tried everything and all was fantastic, especially with the black sauce they have.
