LA LAGUNA RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE

One of our favorite dinner spots during our stay at Mayakoba. The setting is excellent, service was quite good for us and the food was also above our expectations. Really enjoyed the experience and the staff.

El servicio es PÉSIMO y es una pena porque el lugar es bonito, los meseros son distraídos, se la pasan platicando entre ellos y te ignoran cuando necesitas algo. La comida es muy buena, pero es uno de los pocos lugares en mayakoba donde las porciones son miserables y sientes que es abusivo el precio por lo que te sirven. Llama antes de ir si reservaste por OpenTable porque no generan tu acceso en la entrada y vas a batallar para accesar al complejo.

We came here often for lunch given its convenient location to our Casita.

The tacos are the best here. Achiote fish taco and beef taco. Also I really like crudites (jicama, cucumber and carrot) served with Mexican salt and dip.

Skip the kid's hamburger. Served with bread and the beef patty quality is not great. Pozole Salad is so so. I don't love pozole in salad. Much better in soup. May need a splash of lime to elevate the flavor.

This place may be the most popular for breakfast.

Desde que llegamos nos hicieron esperar en la caseta de la entrada porque no tenían nuestra reserva, luego nos guiaron mal hacia el restaurante y nos perdieron, la comida está sobrevalorada, quien realmente conoce la comida mexicana esperará mucho más de lo que ahí ofrecen, el supervisor Cristian Luna del restaurante fue grosero al hacerle una petición a mi esposo. En si, el lugar es muy bonito, pero la comida nos quedó a deber demasiado :(

Get the grilled red snapper. Incredibly well prepared. Amazing service too!

Beautiful experience and food. The patio seating on the lagoon is amazing and the turtles made it even better My man loved his steak tacos and I have the vegan special which was delicious! Our waitress was wonderful as well We will be back!

Seated about 45m after our reservation time, which wasn't great, but we were happy to sit at the bar and have a cocktail. Server was amazing. Food was great, the mole especially.

The views, the exquisite food, the excellent service... we stayed at the hotel and it was one of our favorites without a doubt

The food was very subpar especially compared to other restaurants within Mayakoba. The restaurant was fairly empty and we were told it would take 20 minutes for guacamole as they were very busy and there is only 1 person who does the guac.

This restaurant is so beautiful. Magical place!

We were extremely disappointed by the service here. First the hostess refused to put us on the open patio on a beautiful night (which is where we had a reso), she said it would be 20 min until we could go out (with 3 young kids so we couldn't wait), and then the service was awful. We never had napkins, had to ask 4x for a highchair, we were almost completely ignored on the patio. We do not recommend this place at all.

The waiters are the best, the service feels especially honest, the food is delicious, I felt at home
