The restaurant is highly recommended! The food is super delicious and of good quality as well as the cocktails, the service is good; We love the atmosphere, since they play music by Luis Mi, Alejandro Fernandez, at night, they let the mariachi come in and the atmosphere improves!
For 12 years I have been visiting Playa del Carmen and CANTINA LA 20 was a super special place, the service in general was somewhat off for a few years, but today I can say that it is returning to what was the service environment, and the cocktail bar is something you should experience Mr. Alex is a pleasure to see him prepare the cocktails, not to mention how he manages to capture in each drink what one cannot explain with words and the girl Maria at the bar is super special,...
Food is pretty good and vibes are on point; on the second floor you are able to look down on busy 5th ave and people watch while listening to some bumping music. Service is decent, little on the expensive side, and last few times I’ve been there the server either pushes for a higher tip, or self selects the tip for you such that it is the highest percentage given to them. Not cool, down to 3 stars for this experience on several occasions.Otherwise it’s a cool place...
