Las Olas is a delightful beach club and buffet-style restaurant that offers excellent food at a great price and quality. Located almost on the beach, it boasts a relaxed atmosphere ideal for unwinding with a margarita. The restaurant is part of the Mahekal Resort, and day passes include credits for food and drinks. The buffet features a variety of options, including vegetarian dishes and kid-friendly foods, while the menu offers standout items like fish tacos, chicken mole tacos, passion fruit ice cream, and creme brûlée. The venue provides good accessibility, even for wheelchairs, and has nice lounge chairs and table service. Despite occasional sargassum on the beach, the pool offers a pleasant alternative. Note that seating with the hostess is advised for prompt service.
