Wow…we certainly enjoyed our dinner here. Seated promptly and everything was brought to the table hot and delicious. The Chicken was so tender and the filet was cooked just as ordered. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A must when staying here.

More than 20 minutes of waiting even with a reservation.Place with lack of tables.The receptionist is quite absent while the line forms.Another 15/20 minutes after sitting down for the waiter to take our order or at least give us water.

The place was beautiful but the service was terrible. We had reservations 20 of us and they said we could sit together but they had two separate tables and said we had to pay a fee when we got there to put them together.Anyway all of us but 3 people plus the one they sent away to change his shirt arrived on time. All 13 people sat at one table and my fiancé and I sat at the separate table. They took every ones order drinks, appetizers and main dish only at the first table. 35 mins later we were still waiting and asked 3 waiters when we would get to order finally after 45 mins we ordered are drunk and appetizers and went ahead and ordered the main dish because of how long we waited. But they didn’t ask the other guest that sat with us and they left. We had our food and ate the appetizers and main dish which the main dish was not good I got sick. The other 5 people we were sitting with still didn’t get to order after they waited 40 mins and asking every waiter that walked by if they could order and the waiters would say one minute one of the guest went to go talk to the manager and her response was since they were 30 mins late they had to wait to order… which ok.. I get that but they had already taken half our of the tables order but skipped them, we weren’t late but we we’re waiting almost an hour to order including drinks (unless you ordered drinks you had to pay for they got that out quick) and the waiter could of said that instead of saying one minute. We left due to customer service before finishing even half the main dish.

I have to say that Jorge, one of the bartenders and waiter at the gourmet restaurant, is the best at preparing drinks and giving excellent service, always with a smile on his face, the food is delicious, everything is good, theHonestly I will go again ❤️❤️❤️
It is an "all-inclusive" restaurant so the quality and flavor of the dishes leaves much, much, much to be desired...If you are staying at Sandos Playacar, it is a good option to get away from the eternal repetitive buffets...but it is not an option, especially for Italian food!
