I came here during our all inclusive vacation with my wife and two kids (13 and 9). It's obvious that there is someone behind the scenes that knows what they are doing with food, but perhaps the people on the line cooking it don't always get it right.The food here (like everywhere else at this resort) is hit and miss.It's all very beautifully presented, but how good it is can vary from plate to plate.For appetizers, we got the potato croquette, the octopus, and the blue corn and crab turnover.My 13 year old son reports that the octopus was good. My wifes corn and crab turnover was dry and pretty tasteless. My potato croquette was good, but not necessarily more than the sum of it's parts.For dinner, unfortunately it was mostly a miss. My skirt steak was fine, it had burrata melted on top and was served with something so unremarkable I can't remember what it was.My wife got the beef papardelle and she couldn't finish it. My sons salmon was good, he got some sort of baked potato alongside of it that was dry and unseasoned.I haven't mentioned my daughters food yet - she got a ceasar salad and a plate of spaghetti - she said it was great.Dessert was fine, no complaints.Service was good.All in all, I would say the food was "ok" - if I had to actually pay a-la-carte prices for it, I would be really.. (and I mean REALLY) upset.

The food was amazing at Los Murales but I want to recognize Alejandro for the outstanding service he gave to my husband and me as our server. It was 5 star service in every way. We hope his management realizes what a valuable member he is on their team.

We were at the Royal Haciendas for 2 weeks and ate here several times. We tried to make it a point to try something different each time but had to do the beef filet twice during our stay. There was an upcharge for it but it was so good. We also loved the Tuna Tartar for a starter along with the Caesar Salad. We stayed with the house drinks and wine but they do have specialty drinks. We enjoyed their Vodka and Espresso Martinis and their house wine was really good too. From the hostess to the waiter the service was wonderful. I would love to see them add oysters and some other seafood options but for everything we had was really good and can’t wait until we come back in April. Note* they had a special menu for Christmas Eve but we didn't attend. It looked like a nice menu.

Leonel Escobar was our server. He was very attentive and he was helpful in describing the menu. The food was excellent and his service was superb. This was our 4th night in Mexico and it was by far and away our best experience of our trip.

Not good service whatsoever. It felt like we were unwanted the whole time. Waiter, Alejandro, saw our empty glasses multiple times yet no refill, rude attitude. He gave off a very bad vibe and again, we all felt super unwanted. Food was great, good tasting!

Julio Dzib is the best bartender at the resort. He took amazing care of me and my family the whole week we were here. He is so kind and caring and also so fun to speak to. My fiancé and I love to learn other languages and Spanish is our next hurdle. Julio Dzib answered all our questions and even encouraged us to speak more Spanish while in his care. I highly recommend requesting him as your bartender in the future! We love him!

We at here twice, once as couple and once with large extended family, during our stay at Royal Haciendas and had Antonio Gonzalez as our waiter both times. The food was good both times. The first trip, the hostess went above and beyond to work us in without a reservation which was very much appreciated. Antonio and the rest of the wait staff were excellent even when dealing with our large table of children while we ate at the adjacent table. Great experience.

We went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, as was the service from our waiter. His name is Leonal Escobar, and the man is excellent at his job. The order was sent in correctly, but the cooks were very busy, and somehow it got mixed up. So when we asked him to take our meals back to get it corrected, he wasted no time. Within 5 minutes (it seemed like), he had our steaks returned to us and they were perfectly done to our individual tastes. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I hope to have him as my waiter again. Thank you, Leonal.

Julio Dzib made my vacation so much better. I was at the Haciendas for 3 weeks and this fine man made my wife, daughter and I feel welcome and took care of all of our needs at the pool. I would now call him friend and look very forward to seeing Julio next year. Also my daughter would like to thank Manuel at the pool bar. Also my thanks go to Emiliano for being the best Palapa waiter. You guys all made my trip a very huge pleasure. See you guys soon.

We are never disappointed with the service and especially the food. My husband and I both have the lamb every time we come. By far the best anywhere!!
