I ordered mixed volcanoes and the meat felt of poor quality, as did the toast type omelette that it had.
I did like the red sauce
Well located but I wouldn't return

25/1/24 - Thursday lunch We three middle aged guys from London wanted a simple local cuisine lunch. We spotted to the mole on offer although it was with chicken on their lunch offer of a meal and a drink for 85 total. The whole market complex of restaurants is confusing and we nearly sat in the wrong restaurant to order the mole. We ended up sitting on a table for four on the edge by the Calle 6. A young waiter attended us and we chose from the posters displayed on the columns outside... a fried chicken and two mole (presumably chicken). We chose a drink each too. The drinks arrived quickly and were fine. In good time the waiter returned with the dishes and they were generous. The mole was very good for the price and it was quite spicy. My friend's fried chicken was a bit dry so I gave him some of my mole. Each of us had some rice too, although the fried chicken had some salad garnish and some mole. Eating the chicken was quite messy and a sink with hand liquid soap was provided nearby. The restaurant had its own WiFi which was useful. We enjoyed the lunch meal and when it came to pay I asked for the bill which was supplied as itemised and printed correctly at 255. We were asked 'cash or card' which is very rare! We chose to pay by card at the till only to find an extra 3% would be added so I paid the waiter with cash instead. We left the restaurant happy and sated to check out the beach down to the Calle 6. We ended up eating dinner in a restaurant in the same market complex. I could not quite get their wifi signal but used the restaurant's (given via the waiter's qr code on his phone) which ended up being the corner restaurant's (El Cahuamo) router! All very confusing! At dinner I noticed the plates were being shared too. I have another review for that middle one but cannot find it as it has no apparent name!

Cheese was bad. Like spoiled. Didn’t realize until I was back at my room. Threw the food away.

Partner and I just happened to walk past and noticed a sign with fried chicken that looked really good here! We weren’t greeted immediately, but this place feels very local. The servers were nice and asked if we wanted to speak in Spanish or English which was nice. I ordered the fried chicken meal which was tasty and economical. My partner ordered eggs and pancakes which was a little more expensive but still very tasty. We took away a star because the service wasn’t great and it felt like they forgot about us a couple of times. Otherwise, the food was really good and would recommend.

Great Mexican street food. Very inexpensive and delicious. Greetings to the Nicaraguan waiter that speaks great English, explains everything and you can ask him for meal recommendations. Definitely worth visiting!P. S. If you have no idea which meat to choose say "mixta" to get a delicious meat mix :)

Nasty nasty. The chicken was a weird, thin, fake thing. The tortillas, sopes, overall dough was old and strange. Chicken tacos were horrible. Lettuce was bruised, the sauce was old. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great authentic food, tortillas and salsa made from scratch, very inexpensive, fresh fruit drinks, shaded seating with great people watching and nice servers that love to practice English.

This place was delicious. I asked around at the hotel and shopping. Told them I wanted something more authentic. I was recommended this place and told their prices are better. Definitely the case the places on the main shopping center were like $16usd for fish tacos. We paid about $18 for: chile relleno plate, two tacos (fajitas de pollo and El pastor-this was my favorite), Arrachera (steak plate) coke, lemonade, chips and guacamole. I’m sure there maybe better tasting places, but it was very decently priced. The server was very nice and helpful. He spoke little English, but with the little bit of Spanish I know. I was able to order everything I wanted and the order was correct. I’m sure just like at home some places have some Not so good servers and dishes, but for us the service and the food was good.

The food is okay but the service was not too good and when I asked for an extra plate I was given a dirty plate with food residue on it. There are smaller and better restaurants to support around the area.

Came here for dinner with a friend. After waiting 20 mins for a waitress to help us, we then waiting over AN HOUR to get our food. Keep in mind that a man came in and sat down next to us, ordered, and had his food in less than 5 mins. We watched as our drinks sat sitting on the counter for 5 minutes to be delivered to us while the waitress texted. Even the manager noticed and was yelling at the kitchen staff for it taking so long. When the food did arrive, it was tasteless. No flavor. Refried beans were like water and the poc chuc (Mayan pork dish) that I ordered was basically a thin grilled pork chop with canned tomatoes and onions poured on top. We didn't leave a tip...BUT that was solely due to the inattentive waitress who acted like she's rather be tortured than work at this place. Only good thing was that the whole meal was $5 (each) and we had plenty of room for delicious gelato which we got on the way home...
