It is basically a restaurant during the whole week and on Saturdays the roof is opened exclusively for salsa.

An excellent party, we really, really enjoyed ourselves. There is a very large square, everything with colored lights and garlands, excellent atmosphere. The party started around 21:00 and continues until 02:00 at night. There are seats and tables and there is a bar, entrance fee: 120 pesos per person. In the middle of the party, everything is stopped and two elite dancers came in who were amazing, like a performance for everything.

I love this place even though they've technically changed the name to "Mexicalli" - anytime I'm in playa i go for lunch, but discovering the old location empty was disheartening. Found it a few blocks away on Google.

More or less, average quality and excellent service

The place is nice but bad service, I ordered a beer and they gave it to me cold, then I asked for a glass with ice and the edge was broken. I told the waiter and he brought another glass and transferred the beer to the other without asking an apology or anything.
I found the food very expensive and nothing extraordinary, a nice place to go have a quick drink and look for another place. Bad experience for me.

It looks like a very basic restaurant for the locals but you wont believe the professional presentation and great flavor of every dish!!! (and just like almost everywhere in riviera maya... a bit overpriced)... but you really get what you pay for: I got the most delicious meal of my entire stay in playa del carmen. This is a MUST place to to on my next vacations in the riviera maya.

A rooftop with a glorious view of 5th Avenue. The service from Candido was awesome, weather perfect, and the nachos were delicious. I will return. A place to watch the sunset.
