I don't recommend this site at all, I give it one star because it won't let me give less, but I wouldn't give it even a half.
The food leaves a lot to be desired, I have eaten better in Mexican restaurants in Spain. Apart from being expensive for what it is, with what they charge you for a shot, you buy a whole bottle of tequila.

Terrible place, poor and expensive food, very loud music that you couldn't even have a conversation at dinner and lastly the waiter offered us a tequila txupito, understanding that it was a gift from the house and they charged us 700 pesos for each txupito , and when he brought us the bill, the waiter added the excellent tip without consulting us and to make matters worse he said that we couldn't take the dinner ticket, normal, he ripped us off completely! A burrito and a taco and two tequila txupitos cost us almost 2000 pesos

AVOID. There are much tastier and affordable restaurants. A simple dinner combo took like an hour to get delivered to the table and meat was an extra price. 2 for 1 drinks is over 225 pesos and limited kinds. Waiter was almost aggressive with asking about his tip percentage and I eventually grabbed the card terminal and entered it in myself with him hovering. Food was okay, but too pricey for amount

Super delicious food, very nice and clean restaurant. And good atmosphere. The only thing was the service. Was not good. It took a while and it was empty and the server asked for more tips than what we had given it. For us that is not right when they ask you for more. I mean, one gives for the service they provided.

Alright so I came back in 2024

And the watermelon margarita was the best!! And the flautas were delicious and my husband ordered a molcajete which he loved! We came back twice during our week vacation. I would def come back for the watermelon margarita. And the food. The server was nicer (Luis) than the one the year before. And they have inside ac and outside with fans.

I ordered a salad for 145 pesos and they charged me 320 when I asked for the bill, plus it took a long time for the food to arrive, to charge separately for things that were faster to bring.
It looks very nice, but I don't recommend it, they take advantage of customers

Terrible service, no joke, I won't be back

The service was extremely slow.
The waiter was suggesting the tip should be the balance of our change on $56usd when we have $100usd.
We asked for the change and advised we would decide on the size of the tip, the change came back in pesos, so we left 140 mexican dollars.

Underwhelmed by the service and not overly happy with the food.

Save your time and money coming to this place unless you are looking to get food poisoning! Coming from a Hispanic family this is the worst mexican food I have ever had in my life. Not did my wallet pay the price but so did my stomach. This place looks nice looking in but the kitchen is unsanitary. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Very nice place, pretty good food. Guacamole ? made on the spot, very good, it's also a sight to see.
Unfortunately we arrived late and the Mariachis didn't come to play.
Prices are a little more expensive, being on the main street, but not excessive (just over €30 per person).
They allowed us to pay separately with cards too, although not one by one.

Save your time and money. Don’t fall for this place. Staff is rude. Added suggested tip by their own wish without asking us. They were in hurry to close. Only ambience and location is nice. We stopped only for having drinks which costed too much.

Prices were insane. Food was good, but far too much for what it’s worth. Our waiter hovered uncomfortably close as we were choosing our tipping amount. I also have a food allergy and did not feel super comfortable with the waiters lack of confidence in his answers about what was safe for me.

Again Playa del carmen. ( Playa del cartel). Food was okey, no problem. But the argumentative waiter about a tip that wasnt disclosed at the door. Which i didn't pay of course. He was very angry. The food is very over priced in PDC id suggest flying past it and heading south to South amercia.
