Excellent American breakfast, there is a wide variety of breads, fruits and dishes to taste. In addition, the staff is very efficient and attentive. Highly recommended.

The breakfast host Christina was attentive and took good care of the guests big thanks to her. Our servers was Irving and Eduardo, very nice welcoming waiters. Because of the good team our stay here was wonderful Recommend ??

They have a nice buffet with lots of options, though a little pricey. I like to order one or two small things from the menu. They offer a gluten free bread plate… and it has variety. A rare find in Playa.

Sabina was our waitress. She was very nice. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Attentive servers. Buffet was very nice. Will definitely go back.
Had the same scrambled eggs for 5 days straight under the American b'fast deal. Nachos were not great. I would not order the Fettuccine again.
Very satisfying...Mercatto staffs are so amazing especially Sabina,Elizabeth and Sebastian. Very polite and always ?. Foods are so yummy and delicious.. Mercatto always our first choice and never skipped having a good breakfast.. Highly Recommend.

We came to playa del Carmen with my family, and this has been the best breakfast, Arturo and Juan treated us amazingly, the food is surprisingly good, the sauteed veggies were great, loved the salsas and you finish with french bakery and a coffee, definitely will return
This is the place where Hilton Gold and Diamond guests get their complimentary breakfast when staying at the Fives Downtown.The American Breakfast consists of a fruit plate, bread basked and one special dish.Fruit did not taste particularly fresh and the bread was stale and old. Service is a also pretty slow to order and to wait for order.
Service was great and their home made bread was amazing.
