Excellent food, great service! We had the rib-eye molcajete- more than enough to share between 2 people and it was delicious!
Great dinner after the Joya show with live music. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend the Wood-oven Molcajetes for two (mixed chicken & beef; traditional volcanic stone molcajete bowl heated in our wood-oven, served with a three-chili martajada sauce, cactus paddles, spring onions, fresh cheese, artisanal Mexican-style sausage, and avocado).
For my main meal I had the Poc-Chuc which was very tasty and came with corn tortillas to create tacos if desired. I also chose the beet salad which was a very large portion that had generous amounts of goat cheese and cashews. Complimentary chips with 4 different delicious sauces were brought to table. Service was excellent.
El lugar, ambiente y servicio es bueno. La comida ya no es buena, antes los sabores eran buenos y ahora no hay nada espacial a destacar.
Nektar has a relatively small menu so if you have picky eaters you may have trouble finding something for everyone. We had the melted cheese and guacamole as appetizers, and the 7 of us had either the vegan, pork, beef or shrimp tacos. All we quite good. Drinks were the best we had while staying at the resort. The best part of Nektar is the location and ambiance. They normally have a band playing, which they did last night, and the band was amazing. The band plus the setting outside the Cirque du Soleil theatre are hard to beat. I would not drive from off property to visit Nektar but if you are on property it has a lot to offer.
The restaurant is beautiful. The service was very good. BUT they had a dance band which was very loud and disturbing. Not dinner music and very loud! Very difficult to talk! For spending a lot of money it was annoying and actually ruined the dinner!
Wonderful dinner at Nektar! I had the Poc Chuk (I think that's how you spell it!) having basically no understanding of what it was but wanting to try something different and it was amazing! We didn't do the Joya show and I think this is definitely a restaurant worth going to at Vidanta even if you're not planning to do the show!
Fantastic service and food. Staff was highly attentive to every detail and the band for the evening and atmosphere was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Beautiful place to eat before joya if you aren't doing the dinner show, prices very reasonable
The view is nice and the service and food was exceptional! We had a great time and had plenty of time to get to the Joya show.

The service and ambiance is amazing. Juan Carlos is the best! We love coming here. Baked Alaska was to die for
Beautiful lively restaurant. Go here before cirque du soleil riviera maya. Stay for the dancing after.
Our experience at nectar was excellent. I had a wonderful Angus filet, my wife had poc-chuc (pork tenderloin) and my daughter had the roast chicken. All were excellent. The service was great from beginning to end.
This restaurant has one of the most beautiful settings in Yucatan. It is on the water, with beautifully designed buildings and spaces. The food was excellent and reasonable. Enrique gave us superb service.
Beautiful open air restaurant with impeccable service by Seth & Alberto Capetillo. Enjoyed the smoked habenaro margarita & Shared the molcajete with shrimp & beef - highly recommend! Topped it off dessert of hot carmel lava cake with fruit & almond ice cream - a divine combination. Distinctive flavors, beautiful restaurant with superb hospitality.
