Nektar Bar at Vidanta Riviera Maya

We had apps prior to the Cirque show (which was amazing), then dinner afterward. Drinks were amazing, can't recall the names but everyone enjoyed what they had. Guacamole was outstanding. Not sure what it made so much better here than other restaurants on the Vidanta site but we all agreed. Entrees were very good, we all tried different things. I had the Chile Verde Tamales w/chicken. Loved the masa, the rest was good. I'm prefer pork but this was the only one they had. If you love this kind I'm sure you would be very happy with it. The tacos are never a bad choice. The stuffed cheese was interesting (strange combo of ingredients) but worked great together. The service was impeccable. Can't say enough there. Our waiter, Alberto was the best. And the ambiance - can't say enough. Beautiful, outdoor and a nice breeze as well. The band that played in the evening was great. Lead woman singer was FANTASTIC. I'd go for drinks and apps to just listen to the band.

In general terms, a good experience, however it is clear to me that the prices are higher than ever, priced in dollars, for example drinks of more than 350 pesos??? More expensive than in premium places in CDMX, which is already expensive due to foreign gentrification…

Amazing service, the food was regular for the price, cocktails were good but not amazing, the big problem came around 20:30 when we were attacked by mosquitos very hard, we had to leave inmediately

Absolutely amazing! We went back a second time because our first experience was so good. Food, service, ambiance, music (you have to make sure to look up the times when the band is playing). Enrique our server is an absolute pleasure! Highly recommend it.

The service was at times good but other times very poor. The electric disco music pounding away in the background was beyond annoying. We had been listening to that same music all day at the beach club. My pork dish was way too salty and I mentioned it to the server and all she did was give me a surprised look. There are a couple of other restaurants at the resort that are way better. I don't think I will return to Nektar ever.

Enrique was our server he was very kind and helpful. We got the chicken bowl for 2 to share and were impressed with the portion size, presentation and taste. Compared to other entres at vidanta's restaurants this felt like a great value for two people. The ambiance was great with the hanging lamps and being close to the water. The live music was nice and at a very enjoyable volume. Overall a great dinner experience

If you're staying at the grand Mayan. Come here for dinner every night ! Best food

Our 2 waiters Edgar & Alberto are amazing, professional, attentive and went above & beyond! It was my aunt Linda's 80th B-Day & even an hour after our dinner was over they told the band so they sang her a Happy B-Day!

Delicious signature cocktails, guacamole ? a delicacy, magnificent live music. Very August to wait a while.
