Oh lala! International Cuisine by George

This was our second time at Oh La La! Once again we were amazed by the phenomenal quality of food and service. Our server Alex was highly knowledgeable and friendly, and made our dinner a wonderful experience. I said it in my review from last year, this restaurant is by far the classiest, best curated, and delicious restaurant in not only Playa del Carmen but the entire Quintana Roo region. A must go to in PDC, 10/10 ⭐️

Very good restaurant. I and a few other expats who live in Cozumel came over to PDC specifically to eat an Oh La La. Three of us had eaten there before and we brought another person who had not eaten there. The food was excellent across the board. The scallop appetizer might have been the best dish but it was hard to say. We ordered several appetizers to share (scallops , duck confit tacos, mushrooms in wine sauce and tuna focaccia ) and they were so good two of our group just treated that as their entree also. Two of us did have room for steaks and they were excellent also. We can't wait to return in a couple of months.

Every bite melted. The flavors were really well developed and complimentary on the plate. Making every bite deliciously fun to put together and savor. Desert of a kafir lime flan with passion fruit ice cream was dazzling. My new favorite PDC restaurant. So impressed, left me wanting for more.

We made our first reservation here for our wedding anniversary and it was a truly amazing experience. Excellent service, gorgeous food, and intimate environment. The appetizers (mussels and peach/fig salad respectively) were generous and delicious, and the filet mignon main was done to perfection. We'll be back!

Picked this place based on reviews here. The food was amazing. I had the duck confit tacos appetizer. Amazing. For entree i had the filet mignon and seared foie gras with cognac carmelized apples. Even MORE amazing. For desert apple tart. Incredible!! All served by a very informative and ultra friendly staff. I very highly recommend Ooh La La. Will be back for sure.

Excellent food and service, wonderful waitstaff and ambiance. A family member recommended this restaurant to us after dining there nearly ten years ago and I am happy to say it is just as good as she promised. We had an…unpredictable evening and the wait staff took very good care of us. :-)

We booked based on reviews and last minute as we got back later than expected from an excursion. The restaurant was a two minute walk from our hotel and all waitstaff were warm, welcoming and accommodating. We were celebrating my son's 10th birthday and they all sang to him :) the food here is top tier ?? my son is still talking about the steak. Everything we had was amazing and I'll be sure to return next time I'm in PDC. Our server Luis was more than gracious, friendly and patient. Thanks for a great evening!

I went for a birthday dinner. The food, service, and ambiance were top notch! The chef's special of lobster risotto and the scallops appetizer were delicious. The drinks were wonderful also. I'd definitely go back and recommend this restaurant.

Very great experience, the presentation was phenomenal wow the service was beyond exceptional ! Everyone was amazing from the front door to the waiters to the chef! We had the Seabass , tuna steak, lambs, 2 different dessert with a special of day appetizer! I highly recommend you come enjoy this experience! It felt like we were on a cooking show with the best dishes & pairings!! The best ever in playa! 10/10

Conocíamos el lugar de años atrás y teníamos un muy buen recuerdo pero ha sido una decepción total. La comida mala, mejillones congelados, salsas de los platillos saladas, porciones realmente reducidas y los precios irreales. Playa del Carmen es un destino caro pero si lo vale, sin problema se paga, pero cuando lo que recibes no lo justifica, es tremendamente frustrante. Nunca más nos verán regresar

We are so happy we were swayed by the many enthusiastic foodie reviews, and disregarded the few misfires. This was some of the best food we've ever had, and we've dined out in some magical spots. While the setting is nicely-designed minimalist, the food and service was extraordinary. Franco, our server, was a perfect combination of attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. My wife had the filet in red wine sauce, which she said was one of the best steaks she's ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed their signature tuna in butter-soy sauce, and a special appetizer of foie gras, poached pear and several other ingredients. It was masterfully constructed and beautifully presented. The drinks were also a hit, as was the lemon crumble desert. We've been to many restaurants considered “one of the best” in Playa del Carmen. This is our fav.
