Off the beaten path but prices are great, bread/pastries are fresh and the coffee is strong. It takes a bit for them to make because it is fresh ground with each cup. Highly recommend this as a morning ritual coffee shop if you are within 10 blocks. The service is top notch as well. ^^

I am a local and the bread is very very delicious, but the people who serve in particular the ones who deliver the bread have a bad attitude and are very rude to serve, she saw several customers as ugly, she ignored them, she told them that she doesn't see that I am busy. Very bad she

This place is lost. The service is now rude and terrible. I waited for 30 minutes for them to heat up my sandwich and they threw it at me when it was done. A couple of years ago, I used to come here almost every day with friends after work and before rehearsal. The food is passable, there are better bakeries, and much better coffees, but it was convenient, and back then service then was great. I love people watch. I thought maybe they were just having a bad day, so I went back a couple of weeks later and it was the same. The person who finally did help me did not really help me, made rude faces and finally handed me my warmed sandwich when it was almost cold, again, more than 20 minutes later. The clincher being the rude things they said about me, assuming I didn't speak Spanish even though I was speaking Spanish to them? I have always been tipped well and been patient and been a good client. I have heard from a couple of other fiends here that they have also had newly terrible service there. The food has never been special, just convenient and the location and staff were worth it, not the mediocre baking does not compete with the Select a block away (and half the price for a much tastier croissant ham and cheese sandwich) and the new management (or ownership?) put an even worse taste in my mouth than the muddy coffee I waited 30 minutes in line for.

Good price, good coffee, good location, but the bread is not delicious, I went with a craving and an illusion and I didn't even eat the bread, it is tasteless

Highly recommended. After you go once, you’ll want to go again and again. They are SO kind. Cheap delicious pastries and cakes. I got 4 pastries for 25 pesos. 1.49USD.

It's worth taking food and/or cakes, sandwiches and drinks with you here. Always friendly staff. It is now part of our daily ritual to visit this panederia.
