From outside looks cute but inside not so much, we were hungry so we went. The waiter was SUPER nice. But we ordered 2 pizzas and they were the worst we’ve ever eaten. Seemed like the cheapest canned ingredients were just put onto a bad dough and then into the oven. AND They were burnt. Felt so so so sad that day. We tried explaining to the waiter but I think it’s a “culture” thing, that place just doesn’t get it. Too bad, good location and could have great potential but the pizza was really really bad. We didn’t even eat the whole thing. We compared it to a fast food, but the difference is fast food is great when you’re craving it, and it’s cheap! And this was bad and not cheap AT ALL for what we got. very very sad. I hope someone reads this and takes it as an opportunity to bring someone good and change things around there ??

The food is good, the service generally good. I had the bad experience at the moment they gave me the bill for the bill, apparently they already have the terminals rigged. The waiter told me the amount of my bill, it was correct and I paid with a credit card waiting for him to ask me about adding service to give him between 10% and 15% which he did not ask. He just gave me my ticket and left. When I review my ticket I realize that he charged me a 15% tip on the bill and NEVER asked how much we wanted to give, he assigned himself whatever he wanted. These types of experiences tarnish the name of good restaurants.

This is probably the thinnest crust brick-oven pizza I've had but overall not bad. There are plenty of custom pizzas on the menu and the atmosphere is great.

Great location, I was happy to find out that this place still exist in Playa because many business shut down in Playa and new ones open. I kept lovely memories from the time when I used to live in Playa del Carmen and I must say that the place is the same up today. Negative comment about the place is the customer service: when the bill arrived, we were a family of 4 people, I added my usual percentage of "propina" equivalent of 10% of the total amount but the waiter was unhappy and told me that I suppose to leave AT LEAST 15% "propina". It's a shame because I was leaving the place with a smile on my face until this point! I must say that the American tourist market ruined the riviera maya in these years because they created an habit of the "american dream" in this area where they have endless purchasing power and the mexican people got used to this and now if you stay in riviera maya you feel like you are in Miami beach with a mariachi touch

The place, the atmosphere, the food and the prices are great. Comfortable and very well decorated. If you come by car, they take care of paying for the parking and charge it to your account. We were served by Santiago who made everything even better I recommend it 10/10!!!!!

Really sweet spot to dine. The pasta is really delicious and nice variety of dishes to choose from. The decor is very interesting and calm. Some pretty cool stuff to look at. Friendly staff !!!!

We will never return again.i They offer 2x1 drinks and they fill it with water. When we went to the bar to change it or to improve the drink, they gave us a cocktail course that we were not interested in. So instead of making the drinks again, they offered me to add aperol. AND WHEN THEY BROUGHT THE BILL THEY HAD CHARGED US THE EXTRA. After 15 years of visiting PIOLA we do not recommend it anymore.
