This restaurant is great for a casual dinner. The food is excellent and the waitstaff superb! The portions are large and prices very reasonable.

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant as we are regular customers. The service is excellent. The waiters are friendly, the food is amazing …and here comes the big but.. I find they should have more things on the menu for vegetarians and I don’t mean sandwiches. Another thing please.. bring back pancakes. I don’t know why on earth they discontinued pancakes from the breakfast menu.

I wish we had found this place before our last night! Best food we had on our trip. We are carnivores so we don't eat any of the potatoes or bread so we ordered 3 entrees for 2 of us. All 3 were delicious but my favorite was the flank steak with the mole. (Tampiqueña Rivieras) My husband preferred the Guadalupe Bourguignon it was so good as well that meat was so tender and it just fell apart, also loved the pickled onions! The last thing we had was the steak with the black peppercorn sauce, it was good but came in 3rd place for us. We ate at Harry's steak house the night before and paid more than twice what our bill was here and I really liked this food better. The service and decor was also great.

PDC residents have a secret and that is to NOT tell the tourists about the best spots. However, since this is off the beaten path, I'm hoping that no one will read this. If you want the best of the best, this is the spot to go. You will not find the whole package all in one - Incredible service, interior, food, or value - anywhere else in PDC. Shhhhhhhhhh.

The night before we picked up a pizza by Casa and thought why not check this place out sometime this week. So we checked their reviews and a few nights later decided to go. The food was fantastic! It’s got a bit of a European fusion, with some Mexican improvements. Best short rib burger I’ve ever had. There was 13 of us so we got a lot of starters and mains, everything was great. Good atmosphere, not a long wait for the food. Helpful staff. They are actually better known for the their breakfast so we will have to go back!
I was staying down the street from Casa Rivieras and ate here several times. The food was fantastic and the recommendations from the staff were spot on! I would highly recommend the mole as it was not too spicy and not too sweet. The steak tacos were also fantastic. I would definitely eat here again.

This restaurant is exceptional!! We were in Playa as a group of 9 people and one couple had an anniversary to celebrate. After a bit of research we chose this restaurant. I reached out on WhatsApp and received a response with a reservation in short order. Upon arrival we were greeted like royalty by Uzziel, Mendoza and Marisol and they rolled out the red carpet for us with starters and beverages. Everyone in our group had there meals in a timely fashion and cooked to perfection. The staff went out of there way to ensure the anniversary couple had a little something special (cake and sparkler). Given our short notice arrival this was particularly notable when they all walked over to present it to the table with smiles. We found the bill exceptionally reasonable and thanked all the staff not forgetting the chef. To be honest our group agreed on WOW what a great experience and will visit again in the future.

This restaurant is so comfortable that our family made it our "go to" place during a ten-day stay in Playa del Carmen. The menu has something for everyone...whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The best part? The staff made each one of us feel special and they remembered what we liked to drink, etc. After a tiring snorkel or just an early morning start, Casa Rivieras is the choice. Easy parking is plus!!!

Amazing food , amazing service , amazing place . Since the beginning we have received a warm welcome from all the staff . Sandy was our waitress and she was phenomenal , very patient , empathetic and efficient . Food was outstanding , we ordered the Chamorro pizza and the aguachile , and both were top notch . Good drinks and overall excellent ambience . Nice seasonal Jazz amazing ! Prices are very decent and food quality the best . It is our second time but will be back soon ! 100% recommended .
