Yes, this is an Italian restaurant in Mexico. If you want something differen, this is a decent place. Good portions. Somewhat expensive for Cancun, but it is near the Plaza de Toros, so you are paying elevated tourist prices. Still not expensive for US standards. About $60 for lunch for 2, that includes a 10% tip. This was for 1 bruschetta appetizer, 1 Caesar salad, 1 diavolo pizza, 2 glasses of wine (plus a splash on the house), and 1 coffee. Awesome servers. At least we did not feel ripped off, as is sadly the case with so many other local places in this area. They accept all major credit cards!

He ate: Pizza, Caesar salad. Pizza was mediocre. Dressing was rather plain. She ate: mushrooms in garlic, chicken/artichoke salad. Dressing was so-so. Mushrooms were sliced, mushy. Service great. Would not go again. Unless it was just for coffee. They had the best decaf espresso.

Service was awesome and the food was delicious, looking forward to visiting again. The owner and staff were very kind to us.

The Ravioli pasta was undercooked. The calamare was so dry it was like biting in to a stone. I would never go there again. Horrible food. i can cook better.

I ordered a pizza after an hour I called, they never sent the order to make it. It didn't take long for them to know that they needed to send a pizza, they should check it themselves without having to call them

Fantástico! 3rd Visit! Starter Mina strone soup Main regattone amafricinana Desert Of course Tiramasu Limoncello to drink I love that the chef Franco puts his Italian passion into the food. You can set it apart in the deliciousness of its taste. Value location peffect for me. The bread comes fresh warm and crusty. Yum. I will return again and again. We went for dinner to this place because it was the only thing open at 9pm by our hotel and what a surprise The food was delicious, Cesar salad, lasagna and pizza authentic Italian style … the service was also very good and quick and the prices very affordable We’ll be back

Wonderful Italian meal with very good service. The bruschetta was lovely, fresh tasting and a joy after a week of tacos. Pizza was very authentic. Very reasonably priced. This is the first restaurant we have found where we can get a reasonable bottle of wine at an acceptable price. Generally either the restaurants in Cancun don't serve wine or the cost is extortionate for a very average bottle. Very friendly service with a complimentary limoncello to finish. We will definitely return. Worth a visit if you are in downtown Cancun.

We've really liked to how great the food tasted. Nothing to dislike about this place. We also liked to how nice the place looked.

On December 24, 2020 I went with my wife and a friend for dinner. Celebrating a special day. we ordered a pizza, a lasagna and a spaghetti dish. They brought me the pizza and after an hour they did not bring the other two dishes, we thought they were delayed because it was a special date, but no, we asked and we noticed that they had not requested them and until now they were going to prepare them. We decided to leave! We only ate the pizza, which was delicious but not for three people, it was a bad Christmas dinner celebration. At no time did the manager, waiters or manager apologize, they gave us the bill and that's it.

My wife and I have been living 6 months each year in Cancun for each of the last 9 years and have eaten at Luna Rossa at least 3 dozen times when in Centro. We have also eaten at all of the high priced Italian restaurants in Centro and the Zona Hotelera. Non are going to make you feel like you have been transported to Firenza but Luna Rossa is the most consistently good, most affordable (by far) and always delivers great service. Their pizza is good but the pasta dishes are as good as any, with the lasagna in bechamel sauce being outstanding. You want a show and pretentiousness - go somewhere else. Luna Rossa is solid, red-cloth, southern Italian food you can count on.

We visited this nice restaurant because of the good reviews, and were not disappointed! It was a bit of a journey for us, as our hotel is on the far end of the Hotel Zone at km 19.5 or so. We used the local bus system to the nearest stop. It was then a 5 min. walk to the restaurant. We had pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onions that was SO GOOD we ordered a second. Our waiter refilled my wine glass at no charge! Dessert was a slice of delicious Tiramisu that was more than enough for the two of us. Kind, friendly service made it worth the effort to venture out of our comfort zone

Small place, ideal to have a few pieces of pizza with a beer and continue shopping
