We've been coming to this resort for more than 5 years. We ate at Quinto a number of years ago and the food was so bad we got a refund! We decided to try it again due to the fact that the resort is so empty numerous restaurants are closed. We don't mind spending money on good steak but the other night the steak once again was terrible! It was a New York Filet (actually it was 2 filets which were almost $50 each) they were so tough and so difficult to cut that I asked my daughter to use her knife because I thought mine was perhaps not sharp!! We didn't want to make a scene again like we did a few years ago so just ate what we could and left! We spent more than $400!!! We don't like waiters hovering over us. We especially don't like being shown where we can write in an optional tip! I think Quinto needs to take some lessons from the filet served at Gong restaurant.
Quinto is a phenomenal establishment on a resort that has hit and miss options. Quinto is the best the resort has to offer. Beautiful view. Phenomenal service, and the food was incredible. Ask for Sergio if he's still there!
I sussed out this restaurant prior to my arrival from the UK and it didn't disappoint I ate here twice during my stay once with a random couple I got speaking to and again the following evening solo the food is fantastic and the service is impeccable sadly I can't return to the resort for another 3 years but when I do return I'll be sure to visit this restaurant

The service was excellent. The waiter was very patient and accommodating. The food was excellent and well prepared. The serving time between courses was excellent. The food was served at the appropriate temperature. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Very elegant with good service. The food was good but not great. Tomato lobster soup had a strong tomato paste taste. The clam chowder tasted more like a weak corn chowder. The filet was good but was a little under seasoned and wasn't as tender as you'd expect for the price. It wasn't tough st all, but I've had better at Texas Roadhouse (still the best steaks I've ever eaten on repeat visits).
Superb dining experience while vacationing, from beginning to end. The food was excellent, superbly Seasoned, and the ingredients perfectly balanced. We had the braised chicken, charred broccoli, octopus, and baked brie and a bottle of their house wine (fantastic too, by the way). Only regret is I won't be able to eat here again after we leave. (They even had a lovely mini purse rack upon which to hang our purses.) Even the ambient music was enjoyable-bossa nova versions of favorite rock songs! (Sounds odd, but trust me, it was mellow and enjoyable. Enough to hear the words, but not distracting. Perfect background music for the atmosphere and mood.)
It took quite some time for the appetizers to come out which is not that big of a problem. Appetizers were great. When our main course came out my wife's food was cold as were all of the side dishes. I got the fireside steak (ribeye) and jumbo shrimp, cooked medium temp in cognac. The cognac was not cooked off the the steak at all so it tasted like a shot of Hennessy poured on my food. When using flambé method you should be letting that burn off more. My steak was mostly rare/medium rare , even after letting it sit on the volcano stone for about an extra 6-7 minutes. I tried to eat it but it ended with me leaving about 3/4 of my steak at the restaurant. This paired with the fact that my wife's meal and all of our sides came out cold to the touch really made the meal a big thumbs down. For the price of this meal things should be hot and prepared how you order them. We had very high expectations because the resort restaurants have been phenomenal , but this one was a major letdown.
The food is spectacular and it's the best service I've had in years. Simply a superb venue with incredibly delicious dishes. It's expensive but I would highly recommend it and am looking forward to my next visit.
For an expensive restaurant it was not worth the money - The quality of the food was okay - but all of our food was barely warm to cold. We expected a higher quality experience and would expect at least a hot meal - we actually went away disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant and will not go back

We ordered a bottle of wine, the Endive & Pear Salad, a Tomahawk Steak & Sides. The salad was wonderful, the Tomahawk was good except that it had a lot of gristle which was unfortunate due to the price. The sides were good as well. It is quite pricey though.
1h45m to get the first course, we order rare meat and it comes well-done. And many more series of unfortunate events.

Please read this review, and my goal is not to trash this restaurant, but our experience was absolutely horrific. For two people, it cost $360 with drinks, and we could have gotten a better meal at Outback Steakhouse. The ribeye steak was chewy and resembled something you'd find at a grocery store for about $15 USD, yet it cost me $90. It was very thin and tough, and despite ordering it medium rare, it came out medium. When I brought this up to the waiter, he brought out the same piece, extremely rare, and then even rarer on the second attempt. The manager's assessment that it was medium rare and I could tell he was lying to me so he didn’t have to deal with me anymore. Additionally, the steak was tough and thin. The lobster tail was overcooked, chewy, and had a fishy smell. At the very least, I expected them to comp the steak, but they didn't. Instead, the waiter had the audacity to ask for an additional tip. I suppose this is what you get when you dine at a steakhouse in Mexico, but the manager's handling of the situation was inadequate, and the food left much to be desired. I highly recommend you eat at a different restaurant. Not sure how this place got this many stars. Please don’t eat there

We always choose Quinto for special occasions during our 4 month stay at RM Vidanta and to celebrate our son's engagement with his fiancée last Saturday made dining there even more special! Thanks to the amazing staff for going well above our expectations to make our experience memorable ...once again!
Food was terrible. My steak and vegetables arrived at the table just luck warm. My husband and friends steak was so tough and full of grissal that they could not eat their steaks It was so over priced and the manager was terrible to deal with. Don't go there Will never return
