Au bout de 4 jours a playa del carmen, quel bonheur de découvrir ce restaurant !

L’accueil est très agréable, le cadre charmant, bonne ambiance, bonne musique, équipe au petit soin et cool.

Quant à la cuisine… woooow !
J’ai suivi les conseils du serveur et je n’ai clairement pas été déçu..
À deux doigts de recommander une deuxième assiette tellement c’était bon !
Mais c’était suffisamment copieux.
Je recommande vivement !

The restaurant has two business pages, so I'll be posting my review on both. I'm glad to see their business growing. We always make it a point to visit when we're in town, but this time was a letdown. It's disappointing that they no longer offer Jerk Chicken tacos, which was one of the best items on the menu. The Jamaican beef patty no longer has the same homemade quality and now seems store-bought. I remember when it used to sell out, and I'd have to arrange to come back the next day because it was so delicious. The Rasta Pasta, rice and beans, jerk sauce, and plantains all need some improvement. I hope we haven't lost recipes during this transition. I plan to return to try the Jerk Chicken meal because I refuse to believe they've declined completely.

This is a CASH ONLY restaurant. Once that was out of the way, I enjoyed one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I loved the food! We had a special plate with lobster tail and shrimp on a bed of rasta pasta. Absolutely fantastic! The other meal was oxtails and rice and beans. Just lovely! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The vibe was amazing with nice lighting and good music. The service was top notch. It seemed like the owner made a stop at every table but ours however that was no big deal because the staff provided top tier service. This is definitely a must if you are in the area.

Delicious food with good seasoning and good portions, it's a shame that they only had a menu in English…. I'm a tourist in my own country and coming across things like that is not cool. High prices for local tourists… too bad this restaurant remained silent in the gentrification ?

Stephanie, the owner, is so kind and great. I love her. She makes you feel like family. The wait staff was great and attentive. The food was delicious! I had the Rasta Pasta with shrimp and chicken. YUM! I will be back to try the dessert and other menu items since I was so full after the great meal.

Oh my dayssss this rasta pasta was top tier!!! I highly recommend it. The venue was really nice, I thoroughly enjoyed eating this food outside listening to the reggae songs that I love. Good vibe! I wish they took card though! I brought money just to eat here. Cash is king though!

We had a great meal tonight at Rockas Beach Town Grill. Stephanie and her amazing staff do a fantastic job. Amazing Cajun Shrimp & Linguini, Garlic Shrimp with Mac & Cheese, and fantastic passion fruit margaritas. We highly recommend Rockas. Thank you. ?

Great food. Great location. Great price. Great service. Stephanie the owner, is always there so you know it'll be good. The food was made fresh. We had the garlic shrimp, jerk chicken was amazing ? and so we're the patties. 3rd time here. Will keep going again when in Playa del Carmen
