A very unpleasant experience during payment. We came there to have some drinks and eat there. When paying, the server does not give you the option to receive tips starting at 10%. We refuse (tipping is a choice, not an obligation) and the waiter has a very negative reaction, shaking his head from right to left in a dismissive manner. We were planning to come for drinks every day during our week in Cancun, but for a tip of 60 pesos, you lost +- 4000 pesos worth of drinks during the week

We arrived to eat and celebrate our friend's birthday, we ordered burgers and some drinks. At the end a person arrived offering shots of a questionable drink (2 for 1) we ordered 3 of these shots 2 for 1 and she wanted to top up one more with another friend but she didn't want to. Then the person selling the shots took both shots. In the end, she charged 2 for 1 for the 4 shots and even charged some of the shots individually because she said that the same person could not take both shots, it would have to be two different people for the promotion to be valid, as she had not mentioned this before. In the end we still paid an extra 20% “propina” (tip) without the option to choose the amount. A bribe is a local custom that is not mandatory and you can choose the amount.
