Amazing Sushi & Rosé by the pool. Zaira & Eunice made sure we were well taken care of! It's very hard to find attentive customers service in Playa Del Carmen and these ladies nailed it. I'll be back :)

Grand decor with breathtaking view of the ocean. It's really amazing and something you have to see for yourself. The sushi was atrocious. The spicy tuna roll was drenched in sauces, horrible. The tuna sashimi was still frozen. The shrimp appetizer was pretty good. Considering we paid $60/person without any alcohol and the quality was no better than the typical fast food sushi shops at your local mall... we felt it was a rip-off and a tourist trap. I have to say the service was very nice, professional and friendly.

? If you pass through Playa del Carmen this is a place you can't miss. The sushi is good but nothing special, however, the view is spectacular, have a drink and a couple of photos when you pass by here

The fire roll is the best roll I've had from many other places I've been to. The service was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. If you are looking for a delicious sushis place in Playa Del Carmen, this place is 101% recommended.
Vegetarian options: I didn't check it.
Dietary restrictions: They ask if you have allergies and there are also vegan/vegetarian dishes.
Parking: Don't know.
Kid-friendliness: There is a children's menu although it is not very extensive but they have it.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are many ramps which makes it very accessible for people with wheelchairs, strollers, etc.

Very bad quality sushi. Would not come back here again for sure. Fish was frozen and not defrosted properly. Poor quality of ingridients and lack of rolling

We got 4 sushi rolls. We enjoyed one, but the others were truly bad, I’m not even a food snob. I am typically game for a lot of mediocre sushi. We didn’t even take more than one bite of one of the rolls. Not good. Staff were great and the atmosphere is beach views so you can’t beat that. Just don’t come here for extremely overpriced bad sushi. Get out of the hotel.

To celebrate my partner's birthday, we decided to go to this place, since we really like sushi, it was close to our hotel, and because I saw the reviews and personally I thought: "it's the hyatt, it's definitely good food."I can assure you that it is the worst sushi we have ever tried, I tell you this as a diner and as someone who dedicates himself and makes a living from sushi.Rice in sushi is everything, it must be cooked to perfection, if not, you have already done everything wrong; Likewise, the rice must be marinated with a vinegar prepared from rice. The rice in our makis was horrible, it was overcooked to the point that it turned into an unpleasant paste or paste without any flavor. We ordered 2 makis, a ginger cocktail (quite decent), a Sapporo beer and a seaweed salad (very no-brainer and has no flaws since the predominant flavor is that of hiyashi seaweed and that is already bought prepared). All for approximately $1300.00 without tips.As you can see, it is not cheap at all and because of this, even more so, it is not worth it at all.The atmosphere is comfortable and it is nice because it is inside a nice hotel. The sea view is not worth what you pay for either. The service was good, the waiter who served us was friendly and careful, especially when paying attention and asking about allergies. The positive side is that the sushi can't be any worse, so it can only get better.

The sushi was pretty good for Mexico and the location is unmatched, plus the guys let you eat at the bar and kept the drinks coming all night. I was a repeat customer while at the grand Hyatt and would definitely recommend
The sushi wasn’t great. It was covered up with sauces instead of making the ingredients be the highlight. Service was great and the location and view of the water. For the price I would expect better sushi.
Restaurantji Recommends
The sushi itself was mediocre but the ambience was ?~ the pricing of the food was relatively expensive as well.
Very tasty kosher food, but reserve in advance.
We have eaten a lot of sushi all around the world but this was simply terrible. It was over complicated, poorly combined and generally awful. Service was OK but the restaurant was empty which is an immediate warning sign for a 500+ room hotel. Price was ridiculous
Decent sushi, excellent service
