I don't understand why they rate this place so highly. The tacos are bad and expensive.The meat is not tasty and the tortilla is terrible.

A must-visit place for street tacos. Excellent, fresh and prepared directly. With the grocery store right next door for beer, it's a perfect combo. Please note, closed on Sunday

This taco stand is the best!! Authentic flavours for local prices right off 5th Ave. When living in Playa for a year we went here for lunch and dinner many times a week. Tony and Carlos are amazing people and love cooking there delicious food! We would order the big burrito Mixto or pastor tacos, but we tried everything! Thank you, amigos! We miss you! We first discovered this place on the Eating With Carmen Food Tour.
Tony and Carlos are the best! Me and my girlfriend ate here all the time while we were in Playa. Delicious food, the friendliest service. Highly recommend!

Wow, great tacos, one of the best in Yucatan. 20peso per 1. Good price. Much better and cheaper than in restaurants. After few days no problems with stomach :-)

Delicious tacos served out of a small closet sized space. The guys working were really friendly and the tacos were so cheap, especially compared to the tourist trap restaurants on the main strip, basically a dollar per taco. Even the other customers (locals) were so friendly, telling us they hoped we enjoyed the meal.
