None of the food we got was made in the kitchen, at most heated and arranged. It can be tasted

They tried to rip me and my family off. We came in to watch UFC 303 and had a few beers and an agua fresca. The waitress was pretty absent the whole time but that was fine bc we were focused on the fights. When we asked for the check, she gave us a receipt but added an extra $100 MXN to the bill thinking we wouldn’t notice. Ofc we did and told her this was wrong and she changed it without saying anything. I think this place tries to scam tourists who may have had a bit too much to drink to check the numbers on the till. Dumb of her to try this on people who only had 1-2 beers each. Avoid this place at all costs unless you like to support scammers.

Probably double the price it should be.

Food was mediocre. Quesadilla didn’t come with any sauce. Are my expectations off or shouldn’t it automatically come with some salsa, guacamole, and/or whatever? Bland without. And a rip-off at $15+.

Chicken wings were fine. But a rip-off at $15+ for 6 wings.

Same story for the drinks.

Service and location improve the rating a bit.

I ordered a bottle water but changed my mind before the waitress brought it back and was told I couldn't change it to coke zero. Staff is very slow and not attentive. Only thing decent about the place is the live music but way overpriced beer and food. Much better options on 10th Ave.

Be careful while payment, there is a chance to be deceived.

Two things happen:
- 2 receipts was wrong exactly for 100 MXN
- On the receipt is a service charge ( 15% ) added and while card payment they ask for tip again

Everything startet that we ask for a separate bill. The waitress was very unhappy to do that. Finally we get them an paid the amount, no further checks, did not expect failures on a computer print out ( this is our bad, should be done ahead ).
When we then talked about the amount we thought it’s a bit high and looked for the details. Both receipts was exactly 100MXN to high. A computer does not make this failure, the amount was manipulated ( yess a guess ). When looks closer, we saw also a service charge added, but they ask for tip too ( either …or ) !!!!!
We get 100MXN back ( from the cash payment ), but the card payment was not refunded. The cash register is already closed was the explanation ( we was before the closure time ). We get offered a beer as compensation ( 1/2 price of the manipulation amount ).
Finally we left very angry and did not take the offer.

Conclusion: Always double-check your receipt. Changes are easier ahead the payment !!!

A restaurant that has a pleasant atmosphere, where we were going to have dinner, fortunately I had to go to 7 Eleven beforehand and I heard a waiter who currently has his hair shaved on the sides tell a colleague that right now there are pure trash people, that Well, damn, the gringos have already left and there was pure garbage left, so we gave up going with the one who is in Playa del Carmen out of necessity and one goes out of pleasure, perhaps our tips are not as generous as those of American tourists , but something that should be clear to you, the tip is not mandatory, it is earned and with that attitude towards Mexicans, it demonstrates the lack of values ​​of that waiter, perhaps on another occasion if you are going to enjoy the place, I hope and that waiter does not be there!

The music after 10:00 p.m. is very good...excellent for Rock lovers

Keep walking. Don’t bother dinning here and save your money. They will have unique accounting of your bill. Two items on the menu have the same name. One is a burger the other is a steak. You will be sent the more expensive item and then it’s a nightmare to get the bill fixed for their intentional “mistake”. If you point out the problem on the menu they pretend to not understand. Again, keep walking and have a more enjoyable experience somewhere else.
