Tropical Tacos

I love this place, it's on the new farm under some trees, it's not pretentious at all and I like the decoration and the set up. When there is live music the atmosphere has become great, in general I like the bar to have a drink and talk.
I don't recommend the tacos at all, the fusion of ingredients is strange but I was hungry and I gave them a chance, I ordered one of chistorra with shrimp, it was more chistorra and two small pieces of shrimp that didn't even make a whole one. The tortillas were cold and dry.
The campechano taco was the best served, but the others were small, not well served and for example the octopus one had almost nothing either. The delicious thing was the potato wedges that we ordered. So I don't recommend this place to eat tacos, I didn't try the rest but the tacos no no no.
The cocktails are delicious and the beer is canned, you pay to be in a place outside with music and atmosphere.
I think it has a lot of potential but they should improve their tacos, especially the cold tortillas =(

The truth is that we went as a couple to eat because we saw their recommendations and comments and we were badly surprised.
The worst tacos I have eaten in Tulum. No filling, dry meat and no flavor.
The waitress served us without enthusiasm. He didn't bring cutlery. We asked for them and he brought us only forks. I had to go ask for a knife
We were greatly disappointed by both the size and the quality compared to what we see in photos and other comments.

The most overrated place I’ve ever been to. I really don’t understand who likes this. First of all dirty tables made of empty metal barrels. They put a small portion of stuffing at a small tortilla so the stuffing wasn’t seen so small but the only thing that tacos are inconvenient to eat. The taste of tacos is absolutely ordinary and what’s more when I ordered taco with marlin it had so many ingredients in it that it is impossible to know is it really marlin or chicken. Also I ordered 3 tacos, but the waiter brought me 4 and then suggested to take one of them back. They don’t even offer you glasses for beer and suggest to drink from a can. I’m ok with drinking beer from a bottle, but not can! At least they thought I left them too small tips for this trash and showed their displeasure.

I've eaten many tacos, but never the jam I had here.
DELICIOUS, delicious drinks, wonderful service.

I could eat every day and never get tired.

Favorites: Cochinita, Cauliflower and golden sweet potato. And that jalapeño sauce that you can't die for because it's so delicious.

Vegetarian options: There are vegan options for cactus, cauliflower, etc.

Kid-friendliness: The little ones can consume most of the tacos because they are not spicy.

If I could gove this place 10 stars I would. Amazong food, amazing service, amazing pricing, amazing atmosphere (in my opinion). It has a lot of new or interesting combinations. I ordered 3 tacos and ended up eating 6, amazing place, 100% recomended!

Good food

They have potential, but the service is bad, the woman who served us was reluctant, making faces all the time, in the end I didn't even take the bill, I had to go to pay inside the establishment when I saw others that she was keeping the bill. The forced tacos are very Gourmet but you can't even eat them like that because the tortilla falls apart, I had to ask for a fork and another geta and to finish it a tree that makes the place have mosquitoes that tear you to pieces, very bad experience.

This place is awesome! I didn’t try any food but had a lot of Mezcalitas and they were all delicious. The music is great, the service is great, and atmosphere is amazing. The owner is also very welcoming and hooked us up with some Mezcal to sip on. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s worth walking to from the lower streets of Playa.

Incredible place, different, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff and service are super incredible, the mescalinas are delicious! The music is very good, highly recommended.
