Very welcoming neighborhood canteen with friendly staff, including a young man who is learning English!
A choice of Mexican dishes cooked on site and inexpensive, including a small plate of pasta as a starter, warm tortillas, a little chili and a pitcher of water. Great discovery on this first day in Playa del Carmen.
Grace.

The food is quite good for the price, it is a little hot but other than that it is a great option to eat well, nutritious without spending a lot

The food was exquisite, traditional and large portions. It comes with a drink and tortillas and a starter for an impeccable price, thank you very much!!!!

Authentic delicious locals and very welcoming. We rolled in off the 5 th bike path so glad we did. Very inexpensive..about a hundred pesos provided everything included.. juice and meal and starter. Limited rotating menu on the wall probably based on what's fresh. My albondigas was wonderful and filling ... Definitely not tourist centric but they were very friendly to us.

This place has DELICIOUS food, I always order delivery and every so often I go to eat there. I don't really like the place, it's a renovated house. Little space and a bit strange distribution. On hot days it is too hot. Open kitchen, open order dispatch. Everyone yells at each other. It is quite busy and noisy. The attention is good and fast. Economical prices for everything it comes with. (soup or pasta, tortillas, main dish and 2 side dishes, plus flavored water and sauces)

Vegetarian options: Cheese stuffed chilis. Potato pancakes. Rice & Beans. Pasta. Soup. Enchiladas stuffed with cheese. Weathered cauliflower. Gratin stuffed zucchini. And more.

Economical family restaurant, food with good seasoning, good service and fair price, you can park your vehicle on the sidewalk of the street, there is access to a public beach and the Fifth Avenue promenade in the non-commercial area for a walk after eat.
