Definitely a must stop if staying at Mayakoba. We had a late dinner reservation and then stayed awhile after and enjoyed the music and overall scene. Great food, even better drinks, music and vibe

Excellent is an understatement. The atmosphere is excellent, the food is excellent but the best thing is the people. The service, attention, and kindness were spectacular.

We left ourselves in the hands of the bartender and he prepared us some drinks with Patron Tequila that were outstanding and then he gave us the Mayan story related to each drink.

And if you have the opportunity, the hotel is spectacular.

Definitely remembered when you are in Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

Have come here many times and always enjoyed the food and experience. This time they sent out our favourite potato dish with rock hard potatoes. We had to return twice. We finally cancelled it. They apologized but that was it.merely took it off the bill. For such an expensive place, this is not acceptable.

Estuvo increible la experiencia, la comida estaba deliciosa, los cocteles tambien, el lugar es hermoso, muy muy bello, y el servicio tambien es increible. De verdad no podría elegir solo una cosa. 100% recomiendo el lugar, particularmente si estan celebrando una fecha importante; o en todo caso que la ocasion especial sea simplemente visitar el lugar para celebrar la vida

We absolutely loved spending the afternoon at Zapote Bar. Edward and all the staff treated us like family, told stories about all the drinks, and we ate the most amazing food. We had the eggplant spread and it was delicious, highly recommend if you like eggplant. We had multiple drinks, and they were all fantastic, well balanced, and served perfectly. If you are anywhere near Myakoba, this bar is worth an expedition!!

The vibe of the space is really nice, and the staff are quite friendly, the live music was fun too. However, the food was not very good, neither were the drinks. I understand being at an expensive resort, but these prices were astronomical, it was like going to French Laundry but getting flavorless, watered down food and drinks. Our bill was $300 - for 4 drinks, an appetizer, a salad, and a small plate. We didn't finish any of them because it was so meh. The waiter was even like - you didn't like it huh? And we said no. He was very nice, and the space was lovely but I wouldn't go back, and I'm annoyed that we wasted so much money on such a mediocre meal.

Fernando was amazing. His drinks were exceptional but his professionalism and knowledge was beyond expectations. The bar had a cool vibe but it's because of Fernando that we'd come back.

Espere en caseta de seguridad, no me dieron acceso, la persona de la entrada mencionó que la equipo de zapote mencionó estar muy ocupados para crearme un acceso. Realmente triste esa experiencia.

The cocktail list here is uniquely amazing. I really dig how they incorporate a flavor map.

Excellent food - the sea bass was prepared in a manner I've never experienced, raw and melted in our mouths bathed in a light sauce. Guest bartender made fun cocktails. Waiters recommended off menu drinks which were unique and didn't disappoint. Wine menu not that extensive. Food came out quick, but service was overall slow. Awesome ambience, life music and fun scene. We were staying at the Fairmont and ventured to the Rosewood for dinner.

I only had drinks. Place is in top 50 bars in Latin America. Looks very good, nothing to complain: staff is perfectly trained, drinks are correctly made and good. Place itself is luxurious, but I won’t give it a 5* just because I didn’t feel that authenticity. I had divine cocktails at a local fish restaurant in Playa at 1/4 of the price in Zapote :)
