This restaurant was slow in the afternoon when I came, but I explained that I wasn't very hungry and needed a little food. I was given the best recommendation for that situation. The empanada and a side salad were perfect. You can get either baked or fried so I tried the baked ham & cheese empanada and was not disappointed! The staff is nice in English and Spanish. Recommended.

CLOSED PERM Note, there are two (related) El Rincón restaurants in PM. This one is quite good and offers great food/service. The other one (north of the zocalo) has more limited menu. If you want regular coffee at that one be sure to specify so, or else you will be served their very sugary, cinnamon flavored variety.
