The food and the service was EXCELLENT! Shout out to the Chief Max, and our server Jair. It’s definitely fine cuisine, and so far the best bruschetta I had in my life. The taste of the polpetta had bring me back to my mother’s kitchen. The only thing negative I had to report is that a guy which I think is the owner (not to be confused with the Chief) tried to had my friend and I pay for an expensive bottle of wine we didn’t chose, and we realized it only when it came to the bill.Fortunately, the Chief made us a deal we couldn’t refuse by offering to us another full bottle of private importation. That said, this incident shouldn’t keep you from trying Max’s amazing cuisine while looking at the splendid view from the top.

Chef Max prepared an absolutely delicious Italian/Argentinian meal for the three of us last night. This hidden gem of a restaurant is on the rooftop (5th floor) of the WE Hotel. Absolutely worth your time.

Caesar salad with grilled shrimp paired with a basil smash cocktail made for a delicious dusk meal. Dulce con leche bread pudding was wonderful to share. Chef Max and owner Diego are taking this restaurant in new directions. Rooftop location remains unparalleled.

So I went to this place about a month ago, asked if the roof top was open some older guy name Max, told me yes there is a day pass of of $500 pesos and you can use the pool and we give credit back $400 each on food, initially I wanted to eat only a pizza, but I said I could spend $500 pesos me and my company, so I said yes,. The pool was dirty, even plastic glasses probably from the night before were inside the pool, I had a pizza and other food with 4 cans of indio beer ridiculous expensive,$ 100 pesos each, anyway what I consumed was about a $1000 pesos thinking of course I will pay the difference of the $400 pesos each that you get back in credit,,,I realized the charge next day on my card was more because I didn't look at the bill at the moment very well, when I called him this guy changed everything saying I had to pay for the use of the pool $100 pesos each plus what I consumed with was about the $1000 pesos, I said but you said it was a "day pass" wich I know how it works, but he tried to gaslight me on saying I was confuse, that my bill was the $1000 pesos plus use of he pool $200 for both, the only reason I eat on the roof top was because of the day pass" he offers, I was not even planing to spend that kind of money there to swim in a dirty pool, im surprise someone who has a restaurant doesn't know how day pass works, he charged me $1200 in total overcharged $200, obviously here the customer is not always right, I won't recomend this place and check your bill well, it's not about $200 pesos, I can spend even more but not threre, wouldn't go back
Super experience! Perfect dishes, amazing service & ambiance. Highly recommend!

Chef Max did an amazing job with both our food and drinks!!!
Don't think twice. Just GO! Without a doubt, Osteria Is one of the best portside restaurants in Puerto Morelos. They take reservations. They greet you like family. Have a spirited cocktail or one of the better wines in town. The menu is full of fresh, standard Italian dishes, wonderfully prepared byNo a chef who knows his business. They will kindly accommodate substitutions. There is no better view than from their rooftop. In the high heart of summer, the breeze up there makes it the MOST delightful place to dine. If you tend to get chilly, bring a shawl. And do not forget your camera to # your romantic evening or family celebration. Mangia!!
