The food here was beyond expectation. Everything we had was delicious and well crafted. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. It's definitely worth a try while in Tulum.
Stopped in for a quick bite. This place is a definite pass. Overpriced greasy and over-salted food masquerading as fine dining. Once our server deemed our total spend wasn’t to his liking he stopped paying attention. $530 for greasy noodles and one duck pancake. Very disappointed.
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Went three times when i was there. Can highly recommend it
Asian Bodega, food truck or actual restaurant, both are my favorite Asian restaurants. Not always authentic, but always tastes excellent. To my taste, best Asian restaurant in the closest 50 kilometers at least. I am from San Francisco, and living in Tulum and missing Asian foods had been a drag. No longer. Glad to be enjoying them for the previous several years. Changing menu keeps things interesting. Thanks.
Funky place with a great inside interior. The owners who were on the floor were very attentive compared to our waiter, both charming and nice. The food was a little overpriced. The Pad Thai was delicious. Pork Belly juicy and rich but the duck curry was missing the curry. A tablespoon of sauce over deliciously cooked duck isn't a curry. Rice was also undercooked and crunchy.Still good flavours and a good experience. Give this place a visit when in Tulum.
Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options available on the menu. Even a Vegan side salad
Parking: Parking out the front of the restaurant
My partner and I on our first night in Tulum decided to go out near where we were staying. I think if we had looked closer at the prices on the menu beforehand which are akin to US prices we wouldn't have stayed. Essentially my husband ordered the duck and before he was done he was already feeling like he was going to throw up. Which though I thought alarming he kept acting as if it's fine. He didn't want to throw up in the bathrooms since they were open air bathrooms. So I told him to leave and I would stay and pay then meet him outside. Well when we got back to our airbnb he went to lay down and I was still hungry ( after spending $50US you'd think I would be full) and wanted to see Tulum so I left to explore. When I came back I found him a mess laying on the floor and telling me he had it coming out of both ends when he sat on the toilet! Then when he went to close the bedroom door, he passed out and hit his head!!! I was shocked. I had never heard of such a thing. He obviously had received food poisoning from the duck he ate. I told him online it says to go to the ER but he decided to power through it and it took about 3 days for him to recover. Though the atmosphere is cute and of course reminiscent of cafes in the US, I can't in the least recommend Asian Bodega nor why people come to Mexico to eat Asian that really isn't that good. What I had was fine but not worth the price point and was the size of an appetizer and of course the place almost killed my partner so it's a no go for us. But you can try your luck?
We came here for a friend’s bachelorette and couldn’t have had a better time. The food was delicious: I especially loved the crab fried rice and the Thai steak frites. The staff was also extremely friendly, helping us dry off after we walked in the rain and call taxis for our large group at the end of the night. They even helped us arrange a champagne toast from a friend who couldn’t make the trip. Highly recommend!
I expected much more from the restaurant :( Pho had no taste at all, meat was good but thats all. They served the rice uncooked and they didnt even care a lot about it . Amount of the Tofu dish was small and very basic what we can make easily at home. I know that we are in Mexico and ingredients are not the same but it can be much better for the prices they have.

Delicious crispy beef -we had been recommended Asian bodega and It certainly did not disappoint! Friendly quick service too!
Our group of 8 had an incredible dinner at Asian Bodega. The cocktails were incredible and a great way to start the meal - try the "purple rain". We chose several appetizers and mains to split and we left full and happy. The potstickers and crab fried rice were to die for! Great service and the space itself is gorgeous too. Perfect spot for a date or groups.
We had Spicy Crispy Beef, Chicken Kung Pao and salad and everything was delicious! Staff was very kind too.Chicken Kung Pao was too sweet for me but my boyfriend liked it as it came (I like my Kung Pao more savory). The prices were quite high (180mxn for Kung Pao, 220mxn for Spicy Crispy Beef, 110mxn for small salad) and we would appreciate more rice with the dishes without paying extra charge for it (30mxn per extra portion). One thing I didnt like is that we had to clean table after previous customers ourselves.
OMG. The food here is DELICIOUS. Palma Central is a groovy place after 6pm for various foods from different countries but this Thai food is heaven!! Lovely staff and wonderful experience! Asian Bodega I loved the pad Thai!
