We came here later in the day after speaking to the performer at lunch time. He everyone is vegetarian/vegan so we were happy with the number of options on the menu. However, the burger itself was a little dry and one of those vegan burgers that needs a good crispy coat on it to taste good. It’s reasonably priced when you look at other options around town with a burger and chips being around $250
Great burgers, really nice setting with good music. Would recommend going here if you are in tulum. Reasonably priced.
The burgers are very delicious at a good price ?

The burgers are good, but the potato wedges are magnificent. One of the few places that offer different French fries.

Best place for a burger in Tulum and even more! We visited them 3 years ago and came straight back when we arrived, looks and feels the same and the burgers are so tasteful and juicy! Great value for money and the union rings are Giant! Love this place!
Lovely burgers in a lovely outdoor seating area. Music was nice and food was great. Wouldn’t normally go for a burger in Mexico but this place had great atmosphere and nice people
Nice smaller restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The burgers were great , we had a classic and a crispy fish The fish was a pattie with a crispy coating not a fish fillet, but it was good. I also liked the garlic fries. I must mention the excellent musicians playing. They were wonderful I think the name of the group was “ Caribbean Dreams” all the players were good Sax player was great!!
DOES NOT EXIST!!
Amazing burgers. Best I have had in a long time. Extremely tasty food. Really nice set up for the restaurant. Staff are extremely nice
Bonita is located in the side street in Tulum center (even taxi driver did not know where it is). Place looks very relaxing and as many place in Tulum is mostly not covered so if it rains 2/3 of the restaurant is wet :-) Food is very good. Looks good, tastes good, not cheap as you might expect from burger place but worth the money. Service nice and friendly (however 1 out of 2 waitresses did not understand a word in English). You can choose from few starters (we went for jalapeno poppers and were pretty good) plenty different frites (note that portions are really small) and app 20 different burgers. We decided for BarbieQ (plenty of bacon inside and good BBQ sauce), G.O.A.T (believe it or not with goat cheese ;-)) and this one was our favorite and the one I forgot the name but was the most expensive (top choice) and to be honest sloppy (maybe too much avocado/guacamole). Our little one took burger without anything but patty was good and bun too. Generally BONITA is a good choice for someone that needs alternative for tacos and is looking for good quality and interesting burgers!
Restaurantji Recommends
I was expecting to better taste of the burgers! The fries was full of oil and without salt ! I don’t feel to come back again !
Can’t find the place
The burgers are super good, all of quality, they have many options, the bread is big, fluffy and fresh, not like other places that use the Bimbo, all flattened and watery . I recommend the chingona and the frappé, the service is also excellent. I like that they have several dressing options, a clean place and in the center of Tulum.
False... that place no longer exists... I went and there is nothing
Saw all the great reviews of this place. The setting was lovely. The waiting staff were super nice and it was a chilled vibe and I was excited to eat here after seeing the menu and the extensive list of vegan/vegetarian food. I’ve been vegetarian for 18 years and never been served meat in that time. I ordered a vegan burger, the waitress read back our order which was correct, and when I bit into the burger that was delivered, it was the totally wrong burger and a meat burger at that. Mortified does not cut it. I didn’t want to even stay another second in that place as I felt physically sick. I couldn’t eat any of the food including the side of fries and onion rings we paid for as I was so put off and concerned what was in it. All they did was knock off the burger from the bill (because I refused to pay for it considering it was meat and not what I ordered) and take 10% off the bill. No one took responsibility for what happened and for this reason I wouldn’t recommend going. 10% off the bill is ridiculous considering that you served a vegetarian meat. I literally could not eat any of the food. Sort it out.
