El Abasto Tulum

Many thanks to Leo and Paloma for a great breakfast experience here today. The croissants we had were quite good, and the coffee was very much to our taste (good ratio of coffee to water, stronger than others we tried in Tulum but without being too bitter or sour).

Leo spoke English quite well and was super patient with us, helping us navigate the menu and explaining the difference between the various pastries they make. He also gave us more info about the coffee they serve, and gave us some good pointers on the attractions around Tulum and the best ways to get there.

We hope to go back before the end of our trip and would definitely recommend the spot.

I went to buy my yerba for mate and they treated me very well, super warm, the atmosphere was beautiful and they gave me two delicious croissants

Lovely little bakery and sandwich place. It had a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, with delicious fresh pastries and bread. A nice place to sit for a quiet breakfast or lunch a little off the strips

Delicious. All the bread was so soft and fresh. The pastries were the cherry on top. Coffee was strong like I like. Super small restaurant and a bit hot but overall 5/5. I could have ate 10 more pieces of bread if I could have lol. We also bought some croissants to go so we could use for breakfast at home the next day.

Can't fault this cafe. Excellent coffee, kombucha, pastries. I spent 5 days in Tulum and went for coffee several times a day. So everyone give it a try and support the friendly staff.

Spectacular sandwiches with fresh, delicious ingredients, artesian breads, house mayo. Fully customizable. Gorgeous looking puffed pastries. The cook let us try a cheese twist, meat and gave a couple of small croissants on the house. It was a lovely touch .Thank you100% recommend ?
