This is such a lovely restaurant. It is authentic, small and the whole family are there. Incredible food and great service and it is cheaper than a lot of the other restaurants in the area!

The proximity of Oto and Katy make this place a unique experience that you will have to live. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I recommend the barbecue chicken tacos and the pressed chicharron tacos.

Danger! TOURIST RIP-OFF! Very little food for a lot of money. E.g. a taco with exactly 2 shrimps on it for 50 MX$. No one cares whether you're doing well, but the 10% tips are automatically included in the bill. There are many other and better options in Tulum. Maybe as a local you can get something decent to eat, but we don't.
The molcajete for two hit all the right spots, and it's run by a lovely family.

El canaston has a small menu, which we personally think is very good. The restaurant is family run and the food is fresh and very tasty. Paying by card was no problem at all.
