This is the best place to get barbacoa in Mexico City. The food is truly authentic (the owner and many of the employees are from Tulancingo, Hidalgo) and the prices are very reasonable. The pulque “curado” mixed with guayaba or other fruits in a frappe style was excellent as a drink and the traditional consomé was incredible, just like the kind you find in rural areas of Mexico. There were special touches like the blue corn tortillas, homemade salsas and papalo, a green, something like cilantro, which is used as a condiment for tacos. For dessert, we chose to have Mexican coconut candy. The valet and servers were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

A pretty decent restaurant and good service. The famous barbecue goat taco is a must try. We ordered the set of three tacos with different flavors, including the barbecue goat and goat stomach red and white. The stomach is surprisingly tasty, the goat one is a bit too goaty, normally I like lamb but it is a bit too strong. Still nice to try,

This was a surprise find and one that was certainly exceptional. This cute restaurant specialises in Mexican cuisine and meat dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and it was incredible. The guacamole was one of the finest I have ever eaten. Furthermore the service was excellent and it is inexpensive. Go here if you are in the area!

I ordered the barbacoa tacos and consomme and was so disappointed despite this having such recognition across the internet. especially the consommé which was thin and flavorless to me. It paled in comparison to the barbacoa and consomme I have eaten at home in Sacramento

I visited the place searching on Google, it was the best option to have lunch at this excellent restaurant, the server Paola did a great job, she explained to us all the type of dishes, where the ingredients were coming from, the environment 100% mexican, the mezcal was tasty, definitely the best experinece.
