Third week in Mexico and I felt like trying another cuisine for a change. The nearby restaurant was a hit. The sushi was delicious, both crab and tuna, and the nigiri were amazing. Plus delicious gyoza dumplings and a rice dish, everything tasted perfect. In addition, very nice service and a wonderful view of the sea. I highly recommend this place!

$50 for barely any food, and $5 for a small bowl of white rice. Not worth it. Still hungry.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The wait for the dishes was an eternity, and the quality was far from acceptable. Years ago, they had a Japanese chef who cooked very well, but unfortunately, he is no longer there. The high ratings are clearly for the previous chef—this place is definitely not worth a 4.5 anymore.
Do yourself a favor and look for another option. Honestly, fasting seems like a better choice. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

As a self proclaimed nigiri connoisseur, this is an absolutely gem & highly underrated. The quality of fish was comparable to KUU Tulum (which is around $2800 pesos per person for a 14 course omakase). Here, we paid a bit over $600 pesos for 12 omakase nigiris: the quality was the exact same as that of KUU. We ended up ordering another course of 12 omakase nigiris, still being half the price of KUU for double the amount. The fish is fresh, perfectly cut. The quality is amazing. If you understand quality nigiri and aren’t there to eat an all you can eat sushi roll, you will have a great experience. The head Chef is from Japan. Incredibly friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back upon returning to Tulum

Great nigiris. High quality. Similar to Kuu but for less than a quarter of the price

Well, the beach is always beautiful, but my experience at the restaurant was terrible, me and my friend went to spend a beautiful day and we didn't get any attention, I don't understand how 6 waiters can literally stand around doing nothing. We literally walked in and no one turned to look at us, the slightest attention, we had to go up to them, no one approached, they expected us to ask about the policies and after finishing asking them they did not offer us a place to sit, we still looked for a place we settled down and 20 minutes and Nobody attended to us or brought us anything. I had to go get a waiter, the place was not empty but there were few customers and with so many waiters doing nothing I don't understand how they couldn't give us attention, when we finally got the menu we found out that there weren't many of the few options that there were in the menu. So I preferred to go somewhere else, discouragingly and unfortunately.

One of the best ramen I've eaten in my life. The rolls are also delicious. They were still warm because the shrimp tempura had just been prepared. The cuisine is truly excellent! I recommend you go there.

Hard to see from the beach, and looks very casual, but amazing food. Fish was so fresh and delicious. It really melted in my mouth. I would come back here often given the chance. I’m picky (snobby) when it comes to Japanese food/sushi.

Food was great! Pricey…because it’s Tulum. Super friendly service and every dish was quite enjoyable! We walked on the beach to the resto from our hotel and didn’t have to put on shoes as the tables were on the sand :)

I have no idea why there are so many positive reviews. Very basic sushi options, which wouldn’t be bad if it was prepared well . It was not. Not sure what else to add, we had 3 rolls, neither tasted great.Service was ok, given the one waiter that was running around, poor guy. Ambiance- beach, ocean - awesome

The food quality is insane. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The service was very good and the view was immaculate. This is the best sushi I've had in Tulum, if you have a chance, you have to try it.

Amazing Japanese food right on the beach. It’s run by a Japanese guy and the sushi is to die for. Recommend soft shell crab sushi roll and mixed tempura. Nigiri plates also great. Amazing cocktails to boot.Music is rubbish - horrific pounding techno.
