The place was very busy but Yamilet the hostess took really good care of us she was very attentive and made the wait more manageable, friendly waiters, the rigatoni alla carbonara was the star of the night. Pizza was very good. Nice setting nice ambiance good music and level so it’s easy to speak.

Ambiance - The place looks chic, and upscale and has live music. Feels inviting and fun. Food - We ordered a few different pizza and pasta. One of the pizzas was raw, but they apologized and did not charge us. They were severely understaffed in the kitchen, and were sorry about it. The rest of the food was well made and we totally enjoyed it. We would like to give them a second chance, and would recommend this place for nice Italian dinner !!! Price - Compared to the prices on the hotel zone, this would feel more down to earth, NYC or SF bay area prices.

Il Bacaro is a beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately, the food and service don't match the atmosphere. There were 5 of us and everything we ordered was very mediocre at best. Extremely oily pizza, bland marinara sauce on the fettuccine with shrimp and a flavorless arugula salad with a few tomatoes. Drinks were very weak and service was lacking. Hopefully, it was just an off night for Il Bacaro, but based on this experience we have no plans to return.

Very good Italian restaurant in tulum, I ordered fettuccine alla bolognese and after a tiramisú, excellent both real Italian cuisine, the restaurant is very nice with attention to the smallest details, definitely recommended if you are in tulum!

Delicious vegan street food! We had various tacos, and would get each one again. But first going back for their burgers.
