Amazing vibes and better food. Try the maracuya mezcalita and the pulpo and chorizo tacos.
Gabriel, Luis, and Ricardo were amazing. We came after they had already closed kitchen but they were kind enough to reopen kitchen. Truly sensational experience!

The truth is the food was pleasant, I like the way they experiment with the tacos.
But when we had to pay we didn’t want to tip the waiter, because it’s optional so I only tip if I feel like there’s something to be tipped for, also the waiter taking the payment hadn’t even really been serving us. So when we paid he started acting really unpleasant and forced us to tip. Really uncomfortable experience. And it honestly ruined how I view this place.
As a little note; the whole invention of tips are for them to be optional and something you can CHOOSE to give if the waiters have been really good with you. But you are never forced to do it, waiters can’t expect it. But for some reason it has become culture that the customers are the bad guy if they don’t tip. Either look at your boss and ask them to give you more in salary or be such a pleasant waiter that everyone WANT to tip you.

It is my first time in Tulum and this place is a 10/10. The atmosphere is incredible, food is great, and they have a huge selection of Mezcal and tequilas.
The owner will explain thoroughly all the different types of Mezcal and Tequila and it makes it extremely authentic.
I will come back to Tulum and Mamazul will be my first stop.
