Will still give it 4 stars, since they don't use clocks in Latin America. Everything is slow, get used to it.

What a gem of a restaurant! The decor is simple, but don’t get fooled—the menu is absolutely amazing. We had the plantain tacos, which absolutely blew our minds and a few other dishes. Even the cocktail menu is impressive, using bold flavors in a very unique way. Don’t be a fool, and don’t skip this place!

It's just so-so

Michelin Bib, expectations are quite high. I ordered their signature Birria ramen and soft shell crab Bao. The taste was very ordinary. I guess the location of Mexican Big Brothers and Big Sisters is good, and things are not cheap like American prices.

The service was horrible from the waitress. I arrived 5 minutes after my friends and she didn't greet me or ask me what I needed for 40 minutes. I had to order my drinks at the bar and the same bartender took the food order. I don't usually complain but after we left her a 15% tip, the same rude waitress came to ask us in a rude manner and with an ugly face for the missing 10 pesos! We spent a thousand pesos each and he didn't attend to us and came to yell at us at the table. Awful! I do not recommend this place. The service is terrible. By the waiters.

This was absolutely a highlight to my trip. The food is so delicious and flavorful, the cocktails are authentic, and the service was attentive. We’ve still got a few days left in our trip and I plan to come back before we head back to the US. Thank you Mestixa!

It is a hidden gem in Tulum! The food is spectacular, that fusion between Mexico and Asia is incredible!Every time I come to Tulum I come to this exquisite place.
