Great place!
Expected to pay $200 pesos for 2 drinks for their happy hour. Ended up paying $600 pesos because of upcharges. Drinks were not that good. Beach cabanas were closed.

Good food with an amazing view but the prices is really expensive, its more expansive than in France (where I come from)
Pancakes for breakfast, fish tacos for lunch, and pasta at night! Excellent service from all the staff, and you have access to the beach for $500 pesos of consumption. It's 100% worth it!!

Bottom line: mediocre food, extremely overpriced. I understand that the nature of this strip of beach is to make money of tourists and that I may be criticising established and accepted practices but I first came to Tulum in 1995 and I am still a little taken aback by the brazen money business of today. Don't get me wrong. This place offers you access to a nice little corner of the beach. And if you understand the 500 pesos minimum consumption to be your fee for that access, go for it. But don't come here for the food. Some dishes are average, some barely edible. The small hummus portion is basically half a can of chickpeas, thrown into a blender that sets you back more than 200 pesos. We came for dinner and paid more than 1700 pesos for a few tapas. We live in London and you get more and better food there for that kind of money, even in the city. When we came back to the beach the next day we were immediately policed by a waiter going on about the minimum consumption. Again, maybe accepted practice but I don't want to be just seen as a walking cash cow, sorry. You may be perfectly fine there but I would see the money spent for being at the beach, not for the food.

this place is perfect!! friendly staff, no hidden costs , told up front it was 500 pesos each minimum spend for use of the beach club as long as we wanted. This was not hard to do after ordering a couple drinks and some lunch (which was delicious!) cheaper than other beach clubs in the area and had a really chilled vibe with beds and hammocks to lounge on, would 100% recommend!

Awesome day lounging on the beach at Mivida. It’s 500 pesos minimum on food/drink per person per chair and that includes any chair, hammock, palapa. This seemed reasonable compared to other beach clubs. The music was quiet and it was ultimately relaxing. Would recommend for families or people looking to avoid the loud party scene.

The meal was $60 for 2 watered down "orange juices" which were really agua de naranjas. A bowl of fruit with yogurt and granola on top. Not bad but nothing special. Huevos Rancheros and a club sandwich. All of the items and the service felt low effort. The amount of food and tastiness is the same as anywhere else in México, akin to a roadside stand. I would not return here again. And do yourself a favor and avoid all hotel restaurants here because they suck and are overpriced. That is a consistent thing.

My wife and I are both vegetarian. We initially thought there aren’t enough options for us, than the chef (maybe owner- Italian) convinced us to come sit, that he will cook us a couple very good pasta dishes. Our jaw was dropped, lol we never thought we would taste such good and authentic Italian food in tulum. All fresh and some of the best Italian dishes we ever had- and it’s in tulum!

We spent the afternoon at the beach club. The minimum consumption is $500 pesos per person to occupy the beds and lounge chairs. The food was delicious. The place is clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful. What I liked most is that it is well located and the atmosphere is pleasant. The waiters are attentive. They should invest in improving their furniture, the hammocks were broken.
Kid-friendliness: It is a quiet and familiar environment.
