It has been the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I reserved a table to take my group to dinner and it was a disaster, to begin with they had nothing prepared even though the reservation had been made in advance and there was no one in the place. They made me change my orders 2 or 3 times and the entire staff was incompetent. The waitress in particular had no idea what she was doing there and to make it annoying, I had to start waiting for her. If you have the opportunity to go, miss it. There are better places in Tulum. Bad food, tasteless drinks, expensive and disastrous service.

Great atmosphere, still wondering why this place is not overcrowded as it surely deserve to have full occupancy. Great drinks with lots of alcohol ;) caipirinha for 100pesos is a steal ;)

Our dinner was okay, but things got not-so-good because of the service. Frozen margaritas sat ready on the bar for around 10 minutes before the waitress brought them to us. My wife's side dish came late and not warm, only after we asked for it. The waitress also mixed up our orders. We asked for a bill and 15% tip was charged without a question how we were satisfied or some appology for the service. When we said we decided not to tip this time, the manager pointed to automatic tip rule in the English menu (not in the Spanish version…interesting!), even though we explained him what were the reasons. That part, and how they handled everything, made us rethink our experience and let us to write this review.
