“All your senses will be on full attention on your dinner at Casa Banana.
Was incredible from the first hello till the check.
The mollejas are just breathtaking, the vacio could be cut with a spoon and the octopus salad was just to die for.
They turn on some Copal in the middle of your dinner so even your nose is paying attention.
The panqueques with dulce de leche are perfect!

“Fantastic all around!!! These are the first cocktails in Tulum that I have loved after three nights. So fresh and strong but poured with intention.
And do not get me started on how delicious and thought out the food was!!! 10/10 I will remember this meal for weeks!!! The gnocchi & ribeye were to die for with flavor.
The servers were so attentive and transparent- this is a MUST in Tulum!“

“Delicious pizzas and at a fair price.
I tried the focaccia 7/10 because I thought it was focaccia bread as such, but it is a pizza base with olive oil and rosemary that was delicious.
Pizza Boccanera (if I remember correctly it's the one in the photo) 10/10 spectacular. Without a doubt when I return to Tulum I will return for a pizza
I tried another cheese with walnut (whimsical I think it's called) and more than delicious, if I could in a restaurant I would add caramelized pears and it is 11/10.
Good deal, fast service.
Super important, there is no cross contamination in the kitchen, so if you are allergic to shellfish, remember to mention it when placing your order, but you can eat with complete confidence.
The habanero chili cream they give is great, if you can't handle the spiciness, better stay away from it.“

“A very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Exorbitant prices (but you know). The two ceviches were good, except for the prawns drowned in a sauce that disturbed their flavour.
Out of two drinks, one very good and the other worth reviewing.“

“Ok, so this is the top rated sushi restaurant in Tulum. And for very good reason!
The food, the portions and the presentation, and the Flavors!
A truly delicious experience!

“I really enjoyed my breakfast here! The service was friendly and loved the chill environment. My hot cakes with oats, banana and matcha, were served with agave! I also had a chickpea and turmeric omelette filled with vegan cheese, mushrooms and roasted tomato.“

“Our waiter was the best waiter in Tulum! Absolutely remarkable. There’s a couple of candids of him in my pictures. Our waiter was great at explaining things to us, his timing was great, and we often got what we needed without asking. The steak came out sizzling. The guacamole could have more taste to it. The red wine for a glass was tasty with a fruit taste to it. They have great, calm, soothing background music.“

“During our time in Tulum this was our fave food stop.
Todo Pita (we ate before taking a photo) was delicious the falafels and actual bread itself were delicious and cheap!
We also had tacos, empanadas, burgers and other things while we were in Tulum and they never disappointed!
They even had live music!“

“If you’re in love with cats & coffee, this is the place for you. We were thrilled to find an ‘unofficial’ cat cafe that also served delicious coffees and food! Really enjoyed our on-the-go breakfast and lattes with chai. Beautiful jungle setting. Sending love to the kitties, Michael, Uva (Uba?), Olive & the rest. Thank you for taking care of them & your patrons so well ?“

“In a word: wow. The owner introduced himself and described the specials right as we came in, and his recommendation was spot on. Delightful presentation and good portions; very creative and cohesive menu. There was a confusion about one of the items we ordered, so he took it off our bill, and gave us shots of mezcal for the trouble. Excellent atmosphere and good service. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something different and a pleasant dining experience.“

“Great place to enjoy good Italian food. We came for dinner and had margaritas with Caesar salad and Jamon Pizza. It was delicious and our waiter was very friendly, helpful and polite. Especially in the evening after sundown a great ambient lighting. Overall a great experience.

“Amazing place, food and staff. I felt like being at home. The meat is wonderfull and Julio is the best waiter - very kind and keen to satisfy the client! I strongly recommend this place if you are in Tulum and you would like to eat very good food without spending a lot of money (very difficult in Tulum).“

“Very good coffee and delicious banana bread, also attractively designed, but unfortunately the location right on the main street makes it a bit noisy.
The employee who served us was very friendly and there was even a small hibiscus lemonade on the house!
The Iced Americano Espuma could have been a little less sweet/intense for my taste.
It's usually a good sign when the owner stops by the café and eats something!
Parking: Since the café is on a main street, there are hardly any parking spaces available. It's best to park on the next street on the side of the café.
There is a gap on the side of the road directly in front of the café where you are actually not allowed to park, but that worked for us for a short time; we had asked an employee beforehand.“

“Italdo did an incredible job in making a special day come to fruition. From the ease of conveying over WhatsApp what I had in mind to having it be fulfilled. They charge by weight of the final weight of the cake just as a heads up. Their juices are fresh while their breakfast plates are savory. Definitely recommend coming here.“

“I had a double shot of espresso with their coconut milk! They’re coconut milk was so creamy and naturally sweet. I highly recommend adding it to any of your coffee choices. They didn’t have cold brew, I’m not sure if it was sold out or not sold. Check out their pottery and art, it’s pretty cute!“
