This was the worst service I have ever experienced. We waited nearly half an hour for our drinks. Not an issue if they were busy but half the staff are hanging out. The bold headed man was giving rude remarks to us, mostly because he has no hair and hates life. Poor man, will not be going again.

Italian restaurant, really lovely. Steeped in the style of Tulúm. The first thing I noticed was the well-being among colleagues and the Italian chef is super prepared and friendly. The open kitchen is really interesting and you can perceive the Italian professionalism and quality. We wanted some comfort food and I must say that they satisfied our needs ✅ Super recommended. Casa Sofia is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulum, its food is delicious and very good prices, remembering that it is Tulum and everything is more expensive, I loved it, I repeated several times, they do not require 20% tips like in other restaurants where 20% is mandatory.

They were very prompt in bringing the children's meals. Unfortunately, my wife ordered a seafood pasta, and all the mussel clams were empty. When we asked the waiter about it, he said they were a compliment, whatever that meant. He said he would check with the chef but never came back. When I asked for the bill, I wondered about the mussels, and he said sorry. It also seemed that the cheaper menu items and local beers were out of stock. ? Not to mention, when we asked for the happy hour 2-for-1 drinks, they said these were local cash only, but they were glad to take my credit card for everything else.

On our 5 day visit to Tulum we had dinner at Casa Sofia 3 of those nights! As a vegetarian I loved having so many options. The vegan burger and the vegan pasta were both great! My partner ordered the angus burger and a pizza and enjoyed both of those. The mosquitos were terrible, but bug spray was offered to us by the staff.
