I only come to this place because of the handmade corn tortillas. The lady who sits there all day making them is awesome. She deserves all the credit since without it those tacos would be just basic.

The restaurant was easy to find, close to the roads and confortable. In the traditional Mexican style, you can place an order of delicious traditional Mexican food at ridiculous prices. I would definitely recommande this place !!!!!

It's the second time I come to have dinner here just me and my 13 month Old boy the service by carlos the waiter was amazing the taquero norberto on point food was delicious my baby had a guacamole and a chicken taco and and I had a copious amount of food loved every bit of it highly recommended!!!

This place is right up there with the best spots to eat in Tulum and will be one of my first recommendations to any friends coming here. Kind of in between the beach and Centro but worth the journey from either. The menu is extensive but everything is made masterfully. Tacos, Los Campechanos, Guacomaladas, Costras, Gringas, all absolutely delicious. They serve up a great range of cocktails and other drinks at very fair prices. The service is also brilliant, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. In case the owners read these reviews, Axel and Eduardo are great! I was really surprised to see the current review score of this place (4.1 at the time of writing). Check out this Taquería and I'm sure you join me in giving Los Chacalacos the 5* review it very much deserves.
Great authentic food and excellent service. Relaxed casual atmosphere. We ate here 4 times while we were in Tulum Lelo and Axel were awesome waiters. Highly recommend. May God's blessing be on you all.

I visited Tulum and hoped to find some really good Mexican food that met a travelers budget, kept it real, clean, honest, friendly and offered a safe vibe since I was traveling solo. All of those boxes were checked at Los Chachalocos. I highly recommend a traveler, or many a traveler, to stop by and experience the authenticity and kindness so one can further enjoy their experience of the mystical land of tulum and the culture here. Victoria, Las y Axel were awesome!!!
